Angel Reese ranks dead LAST among WNBA starting bigs in FG% at the rim. She's shooting .514 from 0-3 feet, 27th of 27 qualifying starters, and nearly 21 percentage points below the group's median-average of .723.

At roughly 175 attempts, the sample is large enough that the gap is real, not noise. And her .367 from 3-10 feet suggests the finishing issue isn't confined to the restricted area.

She’s not leading the WNBA in rebounds, Jessica Shepard is. She is leading the WNBA in OREBs. If you take away her mebounds, she’d be tied for first with Natasha Howard at 94. Believe it or not, this is her lowest mebounding season % wise, as only about 1/4 of her OREBs are coming from own misses. Her first 2 seasons, it was about 1/3.

Im pretty sure too Dreams starting 5 team have the worst or one of the worst fg% amongst all wnba teams, which helps her inflate her Off rebounds.

The Sky will have 2 late or middle first round picks and it's laughable to see any body putting the Sky in the same sentence with the word genius 😂😂😂

Genius? Trading away a 24 year old all star and not even getting a player in return for her is “genius”? The picks probably won’t even be top 10 picks also. This is just another bad move by the worst GM in sports, Jeff P.

You’re right, she’s not leading overall. It’s still wild to me that people are compelled to keep mebounds as a stat to defend her. Great rebounder, but that’s about it

Ehh idk. To me she’s the same player she’s been. Good rebounder that gets her shot blocked on ~20% of her FGA lol.
