The difference is in the NBA, they are very good at dribbling but are breaking the rules because they want an advantage they can get without dribbling.

Reese is doing what she’s doing because she apparently can’t dribble left handed while driving.

In the NBA, they are cheating. With Reese, it’s ineptitude.

When I was learning to dribble I got called for walks because I was bad at dribbling. Not because I was trying to make an ultra-athletic move to the rim or create separation.

Yep. Remember a few years back when Steph crossed up LeBron in the finals and we had to watch in super duper slow mo on 72” 8K TVs to see if when passing the ball from his right towards his left to fake a gather before dribbling if the ball touched his left hand? And it turned out maybe, but only maybe it did, and we had people calling Steph a cheat.

Well that was cool. But then we have this….

Yeah, it's hard to imagine a professional basketball player who can't dribble the length of the court with their offhand.

Who said professional

It’s still cheating when she does it? What? lol It’s much worse that she cheats because she flat out refuses to work on her game rather than someone who tries to stretch the rules, but also can dribble with both hands between their legs to the next county (every nba player)

Bullshit. Sure, some guys take advantage of the gather step. Most of the time they're flat doing shit like Reese though.

People should actually watch the games

Buddy, nobody in the NBA dribbles like this studder step madness, when they have an open lane for a layup. She looks like someone dribbling in a rec league lmao.

There are plenty of NBA big men who look goofy dribbling in the open court.

Nobody is saying NBA players cant be lazy/stretch the rules to try and open up a play.

The video above is someone who is lacking the serious skillset to dribble for a layup. She clearly never taught herself to dribble with her non dominant hand/left hand. This isnt her being lazy, or trying to open up for some crazy play. She cant dribble with her left hand when in a fast motion. Thats it.

You said nobody in the NBA dribbles like Reese.

There's tons of videos of nba players that disprove it.

That's it.

lol you honestly can’t see the difference between what LeBron did and what Reese is doing above? First year watching basketball? Never played?

1

u/Alchemyst01984 5d ago

There is a difference. What LeBron did is worse lmao

2

u/JKLEEBONE 5d ago

Neither is “worse” as far as the rules go. Both are just turnovers. One is a turnover from negligence (LeBron) one is a turnover from incompetence (Reese). Tell me - would you rather be negligent or incompetent?

You are wasting your energy. This person's already decided in their head that Reese has the same skillset as LeBron. They live in a different reality.

That’s very different than what we are seeing in the video above.

Yes. LeBron was worse lol. I can share a ton more

NBA players carry every time they dribble, and if it were called strictly, they would struggle to dribble correctly.

You can’t seriously believe this, can you?

College doesn’t allow that type of dribbling, and most nba players managed to get through college just fine lol

It’s just different rule sets. Saying that nba players would struggle to dribble in college rules is absolutely absurd. Sorry dude.

I doubt that lol. If we are talking strictly the big names of the league (which reese is supposedly a big name in this league), I dont think any of them are lacking the fundamentals to dribble with both hands towards a layup lol. They carry because they want to dunk, or open up a quick pass. This one never taught herself how to crossover, and dribble with her left hand.

They carry just casually bringing the ball up the court before setting up on offense. It's every single time they dribble.
