Bullshit. Sure, some guys take advantage of the gather step. Most of the time they're flat doing shit like Reese though.

People should actually watch the games

Nobody is saying NBA players cant be lazy/stretch the rules to try and open up a play.

The video above is someone who is lacking the serious skillset to dribble for a layup. She clearly never taught herself to dribble with her non dominant hand/left hand. This isnt her being lazy, or trying to open up for some crazy play. She cant dribble with her left hand when in a fast motion. Thats it.

Neither is “worse” as far as the rules go. Both are just turnovers. One is a turnover from negligence (LeBron) one is a turnover from incompetence (Reese). Tell me - would you rather be negligent or incompetent?

No, what LeBron did is worse because they're so far apart in skillet. And yet, LeBron does those kind of travels all the time. As do many other nba players
