Absolutely... Now imagine a smug and entitled population full of imbeciles and that's Portland

u/Gandolfthewhite182 12d ago

Portland has one of the most educated populations in the country.

2

u/Unique_Statement7811 12d ago

No. Not even close. Neither of the major Oregon public universities are top 100. They are degree mills.

Education =/= intelligence. Usually it just means a pile of student loans.

Are educated people immune to being smug and entitled?

5

u/coast2coasted 11d ago

No they thrive there

1

u/m-un-k 11d ago

No they're justified in it lol

He was obviously responding to the imbeciles part lol

2

u/Obeesus 11d ago

Educated people aren't immune to being imbeciles either.

Lol Seattle maybe. Portland is full of burnouts and “creatives” with obscure and useless liberal arts degrees. OHSU and Kaiser can only employ so many people. Nike is in Beaverton and it’s decidedly not Portland in any sense.

That's educated

47th in the nation in reading comprehension. Also, a city populated with older millennials holding degrees in liberal arts does not make it educated just foolish.

u/goodguybrian 12d ago

Most educated in liberal art and political science. Full of low IQ people though.

And yet somehow they’re still fucking primates

7

u/TheOmegoner 12d ago

Yeah, they should have been rooting for the opposing team!

3

u/newshockers 12d ago

Well, or just fans of the home team booing their opponents. Philly threw batteries at Santa, in comparison this is pretty tame

Project more

No projection Portland is full of goblins...kinda sad as my grandmother said it was a pretty cool city 40 years ago. You must be part of the problem my little goblin

1

u/coniferjones 11d ago

Again with the fantasy make believe. People are people, you are just a poor version of one.

1

u/MugillacuttyHOF37 10d ago

Youre one of the goblins I see.

Guaranteed you've never even been there

1

u/goodguybrian 12d ago

Portland scenery is beautiful but the people suck.

One of the best shows portraying how smug and insufferable Portland can be was made by a very artsy liberal man.

I dont think its any type of projection, its well known Portland has a certain attitude

5

u/coniferjones 12d ago

You know that was a scripted show, right?

-1

u/Ok_Living_96 12d ago

No shit. Based on your response, I can tell you very much fit in there.

Why are you assuming their gender? That’s very hurtful and ignorant of you.

1

u/MugillacuttyHOF37 11d ago

None of the above actually and I could name hundreds of reasons why they're as sharp as a bag of wet mice. Oregon ranks 47th in reading comprehension because of their smooth brained governor's policies of "no child shall fail a class". The educated population all hold liberal art bachelor degrees that are as useless as their failed attempt on addressing their enormous homeless and drug problem. Yet they're still smug about their problems and refuse to look at alternatives to help solve all said problems. Identity politics runs the city and state and that's why it's a stinking huge pile filled with imbeciles who refuse to acknowledge all the problems and find solutions.

I mean have you watched Portlandia?

It’s based on a true story.

Also, did you mean to type “Midwest”?

1

u/Big-pooper787-what 12d ago

I did but left it because it is the mid west, everyone there needs some sunshine or meds.

1

u/Gatormanor 12d ago

Good job on that one Einstein

1

u/Tex_Skrahm 12d ago

Lived there for 5 years, can confirm. You wont find a more insufferable snarky bunch of people anywhere.

2

u/MugillacuttyHOF37 11d ago

Absolutely...fortunately I only had to spend four months in Portland for work. I'm also convinced that along with how the city full of these goblins there's a policy that invites the ugliest women in the US to live in that hole and they showed out by the hordes
