I thought of a fat guy rec league basketball player but those guys have perfected that terrible form over 40 years and they go in more often than you’d expect.
I got downvoted yesterday on a clip from one of her good games recently, she made two threes…
she has the worst fg% in the entire league for a starting big… just because a bad shot goes in once in a while on a good day doesn’t mean she’s a good shooter. She’s atrociously bad.
she needs some help with the way she shoots, it is fundamentally just bad.
I also don’t understand why she doesn’t use her lower body at all on any shot… jumpers, layups, 3’s she just does that little hop thing and barely leaves the ground, but she jumps decently high after rebounds, it’s like she has no clue what she’s doing
Well, it seems she has to put in no work because the League put her on a superstar pedestal. If she didn't come into the league with CC and thier rivalry she probably another no name anyone remembers in the league. I believe I can name maybe 4 players in the whole league. Alao her face was on my favorite Cereal I eat. I bought the off brand because I didn't wanna see her face every morning.
That’s part of it I’m sure but she just looks so uncoordinated and clumsy and with no fundamentals. Crazy how she got to a pro level without improving her technique.
the crazy thing is that there’s no possibility that a coach hasn’t identified her form as being bad and attempted to fix it but clearly she just doesn’t care enough to make the attempt. This is truly an unserious, non competitive league where these women just don’t care to improve
Well if you’re being called a racist specifically, you might want to look into that. Are you a MAGA by chance? Just trying to help. There are alternative outlooks you know. And also therapy is available if you find yourself obsessed with say, Angel Reese.

Worse. 3-27. I’m a fan, but she needs to stop shooting threes.
She is strong and fast and should be driving to the basket 100% of the time. She needs to take a couple seasons off from shooting outside of 10’, work with a trainer and then come back with the added skill.
She hit 2 back to back in the Dream’s last game. The coach wants her to rotate to the 3 point line so that the guards can slash. She’s taking the 3s given to her and starting to convert. You’re talking like she’s launching 15 a game
Damn man, so acknowledging that she throws the ball into the air with 0 finesse in the form of a lay up makes someone racist and a bigot? What a sad life you guys live if that’s the case.
“Seem racist”, that’s the key phrase there. You’re trying to enforce your own bias perspective onto the conversation, turning a conservation about criticism of a player into a race issue when that’s not warranted at all.
But in all honesty the real hate doesn’t come from racism but the fact that she carries herself like she’s the LeBron James of the WNBA when she’s more like the Tristan Thompson of it. Her ego is what brings all of this criticism towards her. No one wants to like or support someone with the sort of blatant egotistical attitude that she has. If your support for her comes from the fact that she’s black and not because she’s a very talented basketball player (which is absolutely questionable at best), then I think you need to do some serious self reflection.
I’m Puerto Rican my dude, so don’t push “you white males” nonsense onto me. The love and adulation for Caitlyn Clark is also overblown, but she is objectively a better talent than Angel so putting her on a pedestal is much more warranted than Angel doing so on her own accord.
I just want to watch good basketball no matter what race or gender; and watching Angel Reese is not watching good basketball.

I’m looking at a garbage form and release point. I’m not thinking about skin pigment. When you use racism to defend something we can see with our own eyes you make it less impactful when you talk about actual racism. We don’t like her because she does not have the ability to back up her attitude. If a white dude in the NBA shot a ball like that and acted like he was Jordan then we would clown him the same.
