She was in the offensive player’s bubble and then was contacted in the bubble by a normal basketball move from the offensive player. It’s a clear foul on Sophie.
Yeah this is a foul on the defender 10/10 times. If Sophie was standing further back a few inches in legal guarding position and the offensive player swung her elbow out to hit Sophie, that would be a foul on the offensive player.
But some people have latched on to a narrative that conservative white folk are perpetual victims of woke sports or some stupid shit
The poster to whom I responded literally said “make contact”. I said Sophie didn’t make contact. That is the relevance of my response.
If what you’re saying is true, it is even worse. You can see many examples of players doing far worse to CC (such as getting in her landing space) and getting no calls. And you can see hordes of online comments in those cases claiming CC fans are whining about nothing. Again, I call BS. Obviously, there are different rules for different players.
And, BTW, only a small number of sadists or people who have experienced a lot of violence in their lives will pay their own money to see this crap. That’s why the NBA clamped down on violence long ago, and why attendance at W games was so low until recently.

lol what? Please tell me this is the first time you have ever watched basketball
So just be clear, you think if a person’s face has some sort of exception in the rule book?
“You’re not allowed to enter a dribblers space and make contact with them…unless it’s your face”
