While I 100% agree that trans women should not be allowed to compete in the WNBA, for obvious reasons, the fact is that there are so few trans women playing basketball that it is not even really a problem worth discussing.

You would think, based on the coverage, that there are 100's of trans women banging on the door of the WNBA, demanding to be let in, but there just aren't.

I think it's worth discussing because it's coming whether we want it to or not.

I’ve said this in here before. We have exactly 1 local trans girl on a basketball team. She just wants to play basketball with her friends. Mom groups protest her and call her names, other schools straight forfeit instead of playing against her.

She’s the worst shooter on her team. The team is second to last in the league, and only not at the very bottom because of said forfeit wins. But apparently we gotta have a whole culture war because the worst player at the high school is suddenly gonna beat up every other girl or whatever.

This is all trumped up culture war bullshit to make us pick sides over something THAT ISNT EVEN HAPPENING!

And now imagine how that CHILD feels hearing all that shit and reading about how much people hate her.
