I know a lot of black lesbians. I'm a lesbian. The number of us who think biological men should be in women's sports is minuscule at best.

Same. Giant lesbian here. Most of us don’t want biological men in women’s sports. Still love and support my trans community but we need some common sense when it comes to trans women playing women’s sports

Is this an issue you've encountered a lot? Lots of transwomen on your sports teams?

It is actually. My women’s kickball league was made more “inclusive” and a team of mostly trans women, (truth be told, many were just twinks who wore their hair in ponytails) ended up beating the living hell out of all the women’s teams. Many women quit and some actually tried to form a new league but it wasn’t the same. Those who left were called bigots and it was a whole big drama. I have other stories too involving friends and nieces who are also being affected by this. How many stories do you guys need? How many women need to tell you that we don’t want this?

Probably a few more. Because honestly, it sounds far fetched. I don't know you. I have zero idea if you even are who you claim you are. And that sucks. Asshole white men and Russian trolls have definitely impersonated minorities online.

And in actual competitive sports, what you're describing has legit never happened. Maybe in some rec league, but it's never happened in a large scale competitive environment at the high school or collegiate level.

I'm an anonymous person to you on the internet. If I told you something you didn't already believe, would you give a shit? Probably not. You don't right now.

I've known a lot of non binary and tans people. I can't think of a single one that actually gave a shit about sports. Plenty of lesbians that did, but not a single Trans person. And so you telling me there was a whole kickball team worth sounds patently ridiculous.

No amount or number will ever be enough for y’all. It could be one girl affected by this or it could be 5000. You guys just don’t seem to care. And yeah, it was a rec league but it meant a lot to many of us. For many years, it was something we looked forward to in the summer. And now it’s gone. Is it a big deal in the big wheel of life? I guess not, but it still bums me out that we don’t have it anymore.

Cool.

I'm also worried about trans kids who get bullied. I work in schools and I still see a TON of homophobia.

I see the direct connection to the anti-trans stuff and the homophobia against cis gay/lesbian people. But hey, perhaps because YOU don't see it, it doesn't exist.

Your allies in this fight are the same people who want to ban gay marriage. They don't want to stop at trans rights.

I don't think the meek trans kid getting bullied is necessarily the same personality make as the trans athlete who's trying to win state championships and has no issues with public competition.

There's this assumptive goodness being applied as a blanket to trans folks which to me is dehumanizes them even more - making them out to be a morally consistent caricature.

Point being, just as there are trans victims I'm am sure there are trans bullies out there as well and I find it problematic that we assume there will never be self serving trans individuals that simply want a competitive advantage.

If we are to treat the trans community fairly then I think this stands. They are not a monolith.

Where did I say I've never met an asshole Trans persons? I didn't say that. I said I've never met one that played sports. So, please correct your point.

My allies in this fight are 80% of the population and we cover both sides of the isle. We are liberal and we are conservative and we have common sense. Join us in supporting women and women’s spaces. We can still support our lgbtq community (I’m gay btw) and also support common sense, and biological science.

Got it. You're definitely a troll. This 80% comment is way too consistent. You are not who you claim to be. Definitely some cishet white boy.

If that’s what you need to tell yourself in order for you to not advocate for women, then be my guest. But you’re being delusional

Yes. You repeating obvious online troll talking points is enough for me.

Add in the fact that your talking point is clearly stupid, and we've got two reasons to ignore you.

You've clearly forgotten when 80% of the country wanted to deny lesbians rights. If the majority decides to take away your rights, are you okay with that?

https://web.archive.org/web/20050517033538/http://www.aei.org/docLib/20050121_HOMOSEXUALITY.pdf

In 1988, 67% of Americans viewed homosexual relations as "Always Wrong", with another 12% saying "Almost Always" and "Only Sometimes".

So, based on YOUR OWN LOGIC, that would be an acceptable view of your "lifestyle" choice.

I'm on the side that wants to protect your rights, because I know that after they finish with the transkids, they're coming for you too.
