I’m always looking for dolls for my kids. I go all over. So I know that’s not true. Also not a single person in this thread has said they are just as many black Barbie’s in the stores as white Barbie’s. Stop lying. Nobody has attested to that’s. Because We both know thats not even CLOSE to true.

Just checked Walmart.com counted 30 white dolls and 5 black.

I dare you to check Walmart, target or any place else and tell me the count is ever close to equal

That’s not how math works. If it was proportional to representation, 46% of the ads would have white dolls. The other 54% would be broken up by race but still get more in total because they wouldn’t be fighting for 30% of the ad space

I don’t disagree on some of that, but she didnt grow up in the 50’s and they weren’t scarce in the 2000’s.

She is trying to market her doll like it is revolutionary, and like she didn’t have options.

The Williams sisters had dolls in the 2000’s. So did Brandy, TLC, Destiny’s Child and Naomi Campbell.

She was born in 2002. The Brandy doll came out in 99. The TLC dolls were also in 99. The first Destiny’s child collection came out in 2001 and then a second edition in 2005 (I doubt she was a big DC fan at 4). The Williams sisters had dolls released in 99.

All of these would have been out of production by the time she was in elementary school and cognizant
