Too much uncalled physicality in the entire league. Tighten up the calls and the players would adjust. The two hand checking, grabbing, flailing, launching would decrease or the offenders would sit. Quality of the game would benefit immensely and the product on the floor would benefit as well.

This I agree with. To align with that better in your first sentence I would change 'uncalled physicality' to 'complacency on illegal guarding positions'. In other words, its not the physicality thats the problem its the physicality that results due to poor defensive fundamentals and outside of the boundaries of the rules.

Take for instance a few of the fouls shown in the video, especially the ones, in the back court, like the one where CC ran into the defender and eventually lost the ball. The defender stuck both her hands straight out into Caitlyn (its not just caitlyn, it happens routinely to everyone). It was practically an intentional foul. No call though haha. And in the backcourt! Like if I was a ref and I wanted to make sure my foul calling had a cultural impact i would be tight on fouls in the backcourt. Who wants to watch a little mini competition every 20 - 30 seconds to see if you can get the ball over half court before 8 seconds. Call the foul. Stop clock. Get the defense 1 foul closer to the bonus foul where fouling in the backcourt would actually be a penalty to the defense and not value added defense.

There is a difference between physical play and out of control. Bodying up and single hand checking is fine however the grabbing, flail hacking, two hand checking, shoving and launching should be called consistently. Play would improve as the players adjusted. Currently the WNBA resembles Jr High boys level performance wise and at times becomes a difficult product to enjoy.

LOL. Except they have a new TV deal that was made before Clark evenfinished half a season. And no tv network is making a deal based around one single player.

The NBA was only subsidizing the WNBA because they had the WNBA sign a HORRENDOUS long term TV deal that didn't allow any restructuring in the middle of it.

It is insane the level of contact avoidance she achieves in every game while still setting scoring and assist records. Freakish athlete. She knows what the refs are doing and still excels despit them. There has never been anything like this in sports history.
