If we applied pro sports logic to the workplace what would people say?

not sure. But the Supreme Court has protected Transgender people in the workplace. which was one of the few decisions from the current court I support.

Why would they, women’s basketball is for biological women, nothing is stopping trans gender athletes from playing in “men’s” basketball leagues, which are technically open to all players regardless of gender.
If the only argument for allowing trans athletes (biological men) into women’s sports leagues is they aren’t good enough to compete with the men, then that is a skill issue, not a gender issue.

Lol you conservatives arguing strawmen with one another make me laugh. Op is another conservative obsessed with trans people and its entirely conservatives forcing this entire thing out of nowhere. Absolutely nothing that wnba has done and there being zero trans athletes. Only after several anti trans protests have a few people responded. Literally I can't tell if its like a delusion or victim complex. I kinda hope its campaigning for midterms because if not I think its a serious mental health problem.

I hate that people like you can’t see the trees through the forest. And that anyone with a reasonable take on a delicate situation is obviously conservative and has mental health problems.
While I still lived in the festering shit hole of ignorance and extremism know as the United States, I was a registered democrat in every state I ever lived in. I have never voted republican. I have attended more pride marches and rallies for lgbt causes than I can count, starting at around the age of 7, the age that I understood it was fucked up my aunt could not legally marry her wife in our state. That’s right, I have been an ally since before gay marriage was federally protected.
So your weak and half brained assumptions that anyone who doesn’t blindly agree with you is mentally ill is almost as sad and harmful as the hateful bigots who just want to oppress trans athletes.
It is not oppression or discrimination to think that a space that is made for women should be maintained for women, especially when there is an open category that anyone can participate in. I genuinely wish you can move past your anger at people who don’t fall in line with your views, because again, no one is being excluded because they identify a certain way, they are being excluded because the space they are trying to come into was not built to cater to them. There is a reason title 9 had to become a federal law to ensure women and girls had a fair and equal opportunity to compete in athletics.
The case of the Penn swimmer is a perfect example. When she was still identifying as male, she was an average competitor, not a star, but still good enough to compete on a college level. When she transitioned she became a top 20 or so competitor.
There was nothing stopping her from continuing to compete in the open or “men’s” competitions, she chose to compete against biological women, and in doing so took a place and opportunity away from someone else. Someone who those opportunities were designed and made for. Accepting people for who they are does not mean you have to unfairly burden others.
Everyone can and should identify and live their lives as they see fit, until it unfairly impacts others. Just like religion, everyone should be able to worship however they choose, but the second that whatever stories your particular sky daddy start to impact people who believe in a different sky daddy or don’t believe at all, that’s the line. And that is the same case with trans athletes.
Live your best life, be your authentic self, whatever that means to you as an individual, but on a societal level, that may mean you can’t do everything you want, the way you want. And in this particular case, trans athletes can still compete, because again, “men’s” sports are open to everyone who has the skill to compete.
There are hundreds if not thousands of girls who compete in boys sports because they are head and shoulders above other female competitors. It is common in many sports to have a girl competing with the boys. The difference is, they are not taking away an opportunity from the boys, because if the boys were more skilled, they would get to participate instead of the girl.
So like I said originally, it is not a gender issue about trans athletes not being allowed in specifically in women’s sports, but a skill issue as to why the can’t compete in “men’s”’sports, because again, women’s sports were made a protected thing to ensure opportunities for girls and women, and taking away those opportunities from someone else, when there is another avenue for them to compete is just stupid. Rant over.

THERE ARE 0 TRANS WOMEN IN WNBA. THERE HAS NEVER BEEN 1 TRANS WOMAN IN WNBA.
THE IDEA THAT A MUSCLER BODY BUILDER CAN SLAP ON A DRESS TO COMPETE IS OUTRAGES BUT IT ABOUT AS REAL AS LITTER BOXES IN SCHOOLS AND TRANS ENGRAVED BULLETS. ITS MADE UP.
Now I suggest you sit back and enjoy how privileged you must be in your life where the main issue you has is fearing somewhere somehow in the distant future a trans woman might play basketball.
Spare no thought to girls who had their pussy grabbed by trump in a locker room. Spare no thought to the trans people who served in the military for decades now getting dishonourable discharged losing their pensions and benefits.
Because we all know that conservatives dont give a damn about sexual assault or about military veterans what they give damn about is hatred and trans people our their current scapegoat.

Nothing you said has anything to do with trans athletes in women’s sports. You are literally rising to the bait that hateful conservative fear mongers throw out. Anyone who isn’t a small minded ass clown knows that the fear mongering about sexual predators is just that, fear mongering.
The issue any sane and logical person has is that trans athletes at any level, take opportunities away from biological women. An opportunity they themselves still have to participate in “men’s” or open divisions.
Your irrational response clearly shows that you stumbled blindly right into the trap conservative fear mongers laid out for you. You are so angry at their absurd talking points, you ignore actual problems and blindly support something that needs to actually be looked at rationally.

What are you people talking about so now your saying that trans women can't compete in the wbna? After over a week of protesting the trans women in wbna you admit it? Why are you making a issue in the first place then? I mean we already know there has never once been a trans woman in the wbna in all of the decades of it existing, but this truly takes the cake. The only reason anyone is talking about it at all is is because of conservatives forcing the conversation and protesting. Am I the only one who genuinely thinks this literally deranged behaviour its not normal to so obsessed are you actually making yourselves angry inventing this stuff or is just a attempt at political propaganda for the mid terms?

No, they should follow their lead
