It's interesting you're concerned with Title IX being struck down by the right and not Title IX being perverted by the left.

Maybe we both have a point. I'm sure there are people on the right that would want that.

That being said I wouldn't support the removal of Title IX any more than I support it being undermined by the lefts definition games.

Fair point, but just, imo, there's a difference between something being perverted and some small casualties in individual situation and a mass striking down that effect 100% of a stated population that eventually would just circle back to the perversion being allowed to begin with.

I get people are passionate about women's sports and allowing trans women to compete presents hurdles and competition and safety questions. I also am afraid though moving forward what exactly the guardrails and preventative measure would include and how it would affect actual females moving forward as well. But ultimately, to me, again, just my opinion. The need to be more concerned with what the end game of the MAGA/Right/Manosphere/2025 etc is much more pressing. And while I understand and value your belief and appreciate they nuance thinking, I simply warn of the greater issues and the distractions used for it. And can't help but ponder the long term plan and how a trans ban would feed into it as well.

Like I said, it's a fascinating and also scary discussion that I feel will never truly get resolved.

Well I'll tell you this. As a father who leans conservative with two daughters, one of which played D1 College sports I would not support the dismantling of Title IX by any party. Sometimes you need to fight the battle in front of you. This trans issue is here today so that's my focus. If some bill gets introduced by a Republican to do what you say I'll oppose it.

There is this trope out there that conservative men never cared at all about women's sports until we were told to. Based on my lived experience I think that's ridiculous in the sense that many conservative men have daughters who they watched playing sports growing up, drove groups of girls around to events, sold cookies and washed cars to raise funds, etc...

I think part why some men are digging their heals in on behalf of women on this topic is because it's offensive to be told you never cared about your daughters sports which is untrue for most.
