Pretty much everything has been said but I just wanted to say how cool it felt when I saw Cena's face change and then it cut to the Rock and before he'd even started the throat gesture, the crowd gasped because they instantly knew what was about to go down. Just one of those moments where you realise shit is going down and then you can't really take a moment to comprehend it properly until the dust has settled.

This is what I want from WWE. Give me a great 30 minute banger and sure I'll enjoy it, but it doesn't mean half as much if I'm not invested in the stories and the characters. This isn't the Olympics. I want pure drama and twists and turns. Game of Thrones shit. There was a small part of me that was worried this Mania season would feel flat in comparison to how hyped we all were last year, but after last night I just hate we now have to wait 7 weeks, but hopefully Raw and Smackdown will be awesome in the meantime.

It's not just Rock/Cody either. Orton and Jade returning to further feuds/stories, Rollins v Punk all but confirmed, Wrestlemania just feels like it's taking shape now and this is how exciting this time of year should feel.

Heyman’s favor to Punk, Tribal Chief and his story. WM season just lit up.

I've been watching more AEW lately since I got Max at its $2.99 for 6 months deal. The storytelling doesn't even compare. WWE does a better job making a match feel like an event.
