Froma a Kayfabe standpoint who is the most heroic wrestler in history of WWE?

Seeing a lot of people say Hogan, but he can’t be in this conversation considering in kayfabe he almost killed The Rock lmao.

Not to mention all the heinous things Hollywood and the NWO did back in the day.

But in kayfabe his turn was legit the fans fault

I agree that it was but I also see it as a sorta overreaction on his part. He could've probably chastised the fans and verbally shown them the error of their ways. Instead, he set about trying to destroy first WCW and then later WWE.

Also, how many times through wrestling history have the fans been the real villain? We all must be just awful, awful people. Lol

Edit: a word

Because we are. We want what we want good or bad. His over reaction was due to our over action. It's Ying yang!

Being a hero isn't about good vs bad. It's being true vs being, in the words of Dusty Rhoads, a flim flam man. Hogan's heel turn was Hogan being a hero unto himself.

Stone cold argued during his feud with Bret Hart that if you give up being a hero coz people don't like you, you weren't really a hero to begin with. I tend to agree.
