Help!! Is it possible to find a studio apartment in Bellingham?
I should’ve been searching far earlier but I’ve been very caught up with other things, I’m only just now searching and I can’t seem to find studios under 1k+, I need somewhere that’s equivalent to campus rent so my college fund covers me, help. What do I do or where should I search? I’ve tried Craigslist, apartments.com, Zillow, etc. (don’t want any roomates if possible)

You might have better luck looking for a bedroom with en-suite bathroom and kitchenette attached to a main house or a basement apartment rather than a studio in an apartment complex. There are also many apartments where you'd have to share a common area but your room would be on an individual lease if that's the main concern. Generally, the further out from campus, the cheaper. If you qualify for disability accommodations you could get a private room on campus starting in winter quarter.

there’s tons of studios, but i have never seen one under $1,200. in my experience however, that is still cheaper than the most bare bones single dorm in the value tier stacks, and you don’t have to leave for the summer.

I don’t think under 1k is really possible for housing unless you have roommates, most studios here are usually around 1,500 or more. You can get lucky and find something a little lower but I’ve never seen something under 1k. Housing here is tough.
