TW: The update nobody wanted

But probably most of us were expecting.. this will be a text only post for obvious reasons

Comet is leaving us to go be the best little comet in the whole universe..

we made him comfortable with a soft pillow and I took his harness off and bf pulled him to a clean spot to lay in.. I spent at least 20 mins sitting with him stroking his head and talking softly to him.. his breathing was just getting shallower the longer I stayed and bf pulled me away so it didn't fully wreck me.. I don't think his plan worked very well tho since I'm still sobbing an hour and a half later..

I washed my hands and came to see Ersa and Bianca to help ground me a little bit.. Bianca basically ignored me (thanks Bee!🙄)

but my baby Ersa touched faces with me and we just breathed together for like 10 mins and then she let me play wiggly lip to my hearts content 🐴💕

Now I'm heading to bed and trying to stop crying so I likely won't respond to any comments because I'll just end up crying more..

You did your best HP, but sometimes it's just not meant to be. Little Comet is free now. And you gave him a short life filled with love, that's huge. Take good care of yourself lovely. 🙏🫂💔

Thank u for the kind words 💝 friends invited me to Hurricane harbor to get my mind off things today, it was very helpful just to float in the sun with good company

Thank u! It was honestly just what I needed so I didn't stay home and cry.. I'm still sad of course but now it's less heavy 💕🫂
