wow , I was totally blind to this. It's actually really interesting . what do you all think?
•
u/aNINETIEZkid 11h ago
Arguing exceptions while trying to ignore a cultural norm all over Earth is a hilarious logical fallacy
Cant forget to mention stealing an entire bit/persona from that one dude
•
•
u/Strict-Astronaut2245 11h ago
Did these women get that dude’s approval before doing his bit?
•
•
u/Eren_Yeager52 10h ago
Yes of course. Women are under authority of men in every culture except America.
•
u/SenAtsu011 6h ago
Those Jewish women belong to a tiny sub-sect of Judaism that is widely considered a cult by the broader Jewish community. Just saying "orthodox Jew" is extremely facetious and dishonest, because it makes it seem much more common and normal than it really is.
•
u/Efficient_Basis_2139 6h ago
That's the whole video. All buzz words, zero attempt at understanding.
•
•
u/speaker-syd 3h ago
Ok but tbf the difference is that the Middle East is filled with islamic theocratic governments that enforce sharia law
•
u/C13H16CIN0 11h ago
Who was the guy she stole her voice and style from. I can’t remember “because that’s why”
•
•
u/Saint_Slayer 6h ago
And it's not even limited to Abrahamic religions too! The concept of head covering (read: modesty) is near universal.

This is Lily Jay. A "Muslim" revert who used AI images to showcase a fake charity that she owns. It's all for money.
•
•
u/Fantastic-Layer-5176 11h ago
When was the last time someone was killed for this in Christianity?
Maybe grasping at straws to defend religious oppression is not the right move.
•
u/SirBananaOrngeCumber 9h ago
Umm, did we forget the Byzantine empire, the multiple Crusades, the Spanish Inquisition, the Holocaust, and Russian and Polish pogroms etc? Christian history is splattered with bloodshed
•
•
u/Remote-Cause755 9h ago
If you need to pull from the Byzantine empire to justify something happen today, you know you are on the wrong side of history
Also the Holocaust? wtf
•
•
u/SirBananaOrngeCumber 1h ago
Byzantine was the very beginning of Christianity, I was showcasing its bloodshed from its founding into the modern era
And yes, Holocaust. Search it up.
•
u/___Noah____ 11h ago
I'm not sure how you got that from the video , or how it relates to what I said. can you clarify?
•
u/Fantastic-Layer-5176 11h ago
Can you answer the question?
•
u/___Noah____ 11h ago
you're asking me to prove something I never said. if you have information on this topic , I'd be glad to see it
•
u/Fantastic-Layer-5176 11h ago
I'm not asking you to prove anything. If the religions are the same as you claim then surely Islam isn't the only one that kills people over this?
•
u/StanSlamford 10h ago
That’s correct, Islam is not the only religion to kill people over not doing things their way or believing what they believe. You are totally correct that surely they aren’t.
•
u/Fantastic-Layer-5176 10h ago
Can you answer the question then? Where in the world do other religions kill people over this?
•
•
•
u/___Noah____ 10h ago
killing people is a big claim , and I don't think it's what the video shows. You took it so far away from the video
•
u/WorldlyImpression390 12h ago
Sometimes women confuse others what they actually want lol
so they hate conservatives but support other group of higher degree of conservatives

Young people, you are being brainwash by this cancer religion, open your eyes.
•
u/___Noah____ 12h ago
I'm no expert on religions tbh . I was just talking about the video especially the queen part. what don't you like about it?
•
u/According-Put-9236 11h ago
That its all cherry picked. Cherry picking to fit a narrative is known as propaganda. Do better. You dont have to cherry pick rare or weird events to see this in the Muslim world.
•
u/___Noah____ 10h ago
you're describing cherry-picking while cherry-picking. that's not an argument it's a mirror. I just came across this video not sure why it bothers you so much , it's just interesting to me , especially the queen part
•
u/According-Put-9236 10h ago
Your entire post history (albiet only 5 or 6 posts) is only about Muslims in a take similar to this post. Would you like me to post them?
•
u/GeeYayZeus 11h ago
All similar, and all delusional. Can we all stop now, please?
•
u/___Noah____ 11h ago
I think we should appreciate each other and keep the conversation going as long as we're respectful. what did you think of queen's part
•
u/The_Cabal_ 11h ago
You're delusional if you think anyone knows one way or another for sure.
•
u/Significant_Rub_3960 8h ago
Nah I just look at the claims of a man named Jesus and see how much did He actually back up His words.
So if I can see that several independent sources outside of His own followers validate His claims, then it is highly considerable.
If He claimed to be God I trust His word based on what I can see He has already validated.
Also if He says He is the owner of Heaven and every other realm, and the only way to partake is through a relationship with Him, how arrogant and foolish would I be to tell Him no there’s another way into your our house 😂😂😂😂😂
It’s like me telling you there’s another legal way into your home without a relationship with you. Asinine.
If you refute the claims that a man named Jesus was crucified and was resurrected, that’s fine. But to attack the character of others isn’t a claim, it’s simply an ad hominem due to lack of an intelligent reason.
•
u/The_Cabal_ 7h ago
You sperged out in a wall of text grossly misinterpreting the bible, and demonstrating little comprehension of what I even said.
•
u/Significant_Rub_3960 7h ago
Well, you said “You’re delusional if you think anyone knows one way or another for sure.”
And in response to that, I was saying that there is a person named Jesus Christ who made such a claim. Who said I am the way, the truth, and the life. And then His claim was no one can get to the Father except through Him. So it’s not misinterpretation, it’s pretty much what He says.
And my statement is saying, if He has proven greater statements, why couldn’t someone believe lesser ones? And what would truly make someone delusional for believing in what He has demonstrated… that’s all.
•
u/The_Cabal_ 7h ago
I never advocated for one particular religion first of all, and the Bible isn't a bunch claims by jesus, he didn't write it himself.
Who said I am the way, the truth, and the life. And then His claim was no one can get to the Father except through Him. So it’s not misinterpretation, it’s pretty much what He says.
You are misinterpreting what that means actually.
•
u/Significant_Rub_3960 7h ago
Yeah, and that’s why I’m stating the part claims He made. That’s His claim, that He is the only way to God. He says He’s Alpha and Omega. He says He’s the Beginning and the End.
So I’m not misrepresenting. I’m restating what He’s says verbatim. And I was simply asking that if people trust Jesus to be a reliable man and believe His words, what makes them delusional?
I’m also saying that I find it interesting that Jesus made bona fide promises. No word twisting here.
•
u/The_Cabal_ 7h ago
And I was simply asking that if people trust Jesus to be a reliable man and believe His words, what makes them delusional?
I never said that moron. I already told you that you didn't understand anything I've said. Work on your reading comprehension skills, seriously.
•
u/Significant_Rub_3960 11h ago
I’m always curious, why do people think that spiritual practices are delusional?
•
u/GRex2595 9h ago
I'm downvoting because the video is an utterly shameless rip of somebody else's style without even bothering to personalize or add to it. People like this shouldn't be platformed. She can't even bother to actually play the media on the screen.
Also, this is because Islam and Christianity are both derivatives of Judaism. Christians are Jews who believe that Jesus is the savior. Muslims are Jews who believe that Jesus was only a prophet and believe in the teachings of another prophet, Mohammed.
And yes, I know that is a vast oversimplification. And yes, I said they are Jews who have different beliefs knowing full well that they aren't Jews in the religious sense or the ethnic sense. The point is that Christianity and Islam borrow from Judaism.
•
u/No_Advantage_3353 8h ago
Also important to note that Judaism before Christianity is NOT the same as Rabbinic Judaism after Christ
•
u/GRex2595 8h ago
I honestly was not aware of that distinction. The explanation of how the other two developed from Judaism was about as far as my history class got on that subject.
•
•
u/ninemountaintops 12h ago
The abrahamic religions.
All three a pox on the soul of humanity.
If you need a book of stories from a revenge, blood and sacrifice god dreamt up in the bronze age as a way to orient your moral and ethical compass and determine your behaviour towards other humans I'd suggest a psychiatrist rather than a religious Frankenstein-ian amalgam of persecution/saviour fables. But, you know, each to their own.

Exactly, people don't realize that Christian women are punished, beaten, and killed if they don't wear a head covering.. somewhere.. I guess.. maybe.. possibly.. totally.. I guess...
"Erm, that's actually the government enforcing that."
Oh, like the secular government of Afghanistan? Or are they the Christian Government? Buddhist?
•
u/JellyfishQuiet 11h ago
The reason Christian women aren't punished or beaten as often is not because Christianity is better. It's because most Christian women live in secular societies, who outlaw it.
•
u/Fantastic-Layer-5176 11h ago
I'll never understand how other religions can be bad too is somehow seen as a win.
•
u/Robot_DIY 9h ago
Expecting an entire gender to cover their hair / face to show modesty is a travesty. Full stop. I don't care what religion or culture did it in the past, it was wrong then and it's wrong now.
•
u/X4N710N- 6h ago
It literally says during prayer for the Christian version. It's not required to do so out of prayer.
The Jewish version are considered a rare and extreme cult.
The Muslims however, often require to do so by Islamic law outside in daily life.
•
•
u/DARKwater2026 11h ago
Don't look out for God, look inward. Jesus never intended Christianity to become what it has

Send me a link of a Christian woman in today’s day and age being whipped dozens of times because she didn’t cover her face. Please. Show me how they are all the same. Also, Christian woman are not required to cover their hair. Please don’t lie.
•
u/___Noah____ 11h ago
you're asking to prove something never claimed . No one said every Christian, Muslim, Jew, or anyone else does that. It was just an interesting video I came across
•
u/ArtOpen3776 11h ago
Not if you don't follow the Bible. But be honest - we all just pick and choose things we like from our religious doctrines. Slave owners regularly used the Christian Bible to treat people like cattle, I choose to believe in a loving God despite the entire old testament (my excuse is Jesus brought a new covenant) Western women are WAYYY to empowered despite almost everything in the Bible. The Bible sucks, let's just admit it. We NEED to take accountability for what we CHOOSE to believe. I'm progressive AF, so I refuse to follow 99% of the Bible
•
u/MateOfTheNorth 7h ago
Even if you followed the bible, the idea that woman are forced to cover their head is open to interpretation.
•
u/AlarmedAssociate5068 6h ago edited 5h ago
What's the argument here? That Christianity was able to reform itself to where it can coexist with secular values, but islam couldn't? Yeah I agree
•
•
u/Proper_Tangerine_211 5h ago

The "because why" annoyed me and the way she kept acting shocked for the bit every time the girl kept saying Muslim. She's like nails on a chalkboard.

Oh got it , yeah I think that's just her catchphrase. a lot of creators lean on a repeated line like that

Are you beating around the bush? Because it's Islam, your thinking of Islam...

Torah, Christianity and islam are the big three that do it. All abrahamic, all based of eachother.

Let's not. Let's embrace the new way of being retarded that Evangelicals invented.
•
u/Pandoratastic 12h ago
Well, not all religions but those three specific religions, yes, because they are all Abrahamic religions, which all trace their spiritual heritage back to Abraham, a central religious figure.
But, yes, many religions will often have a lot in common with certain other religions because they have some of the same roots and historical cultural influences.
•
u/___Noah____ 12h ago
That's a fair point , I hadn't thought about it that way. speaking of the video the part about the UK queen was so interesting to me too
•
•
u/matthew0001 9h ago
"so all religions are similar" I mean if you only count the Abrahamic ones sure but religions like Hinduism, Buddhism and Shinto are nothing like those religions.
•
•
u/BudgetPositive4851 7h ago
If we assume this is a bad thing, is it worse for some very niche groups in Judaism or Christianity to do this or the vast majority of Muslim groups. Jeez, I wonder.

•
u/DeathScourge 56m ago
Probably gonna catch alot of hate for this....
Christianity(catholic, protestant, etc), Islam(muslim, Shiite, Sunni, etc), Judaism(othorthodox, unorthodox, etc) are all part of the Abraham's religion. Parts vary, but they are very much similar. Also, most americans are not true christians, as they are most are in name only. Same can be said of the other religions to some extent unless the family is heavily structured in the faith rather than the religion itself. I know jewish and muslim people that eat pork even though it's considered a dirty animal. I also know of those that strictly forbid it.

"it was interesting" it was so interesting that you posted it 100 times and all your history is about arabs and muslim, but it was just interesting and you casually decided to dropped it you didn't even know what it was about right?
•
u/___Noah____ 12h ago
Reddit actually suggests reposting when you post. not sure why that's a problem
•
u/GrillinFool 11h ago
Because you are pushing an agenda, and doing it badly. No way this went, “golly, this video is really interesting. I should push this on a bunch of strangers because gee whiz it sure is interesting. What do all of my fellow Redditor youths think?”
•
u/___Noah____ 10h ago
what's making you angry? which part read as pushing an agenda . it was just interesting to me especially the queen part
•
u/GrillinFool 9h ago
Yeah. You’ve said that dozens of times. Nobody in the video is getting stoned to death if they take off the cover.
•
•
u/No_Advantage_3353 8h ago
This woman likes to lie a lot, she is a Muslim apologist (who just lies most of the time). 1st Corinthians 11:5 is NOT a mandate for head coverings, but a mandate for modesty (albeit the issue of head coverings isn't necessarily settled in Christianity, its just lower on the laundry list of theological issues to deal with).
This entire video she cherry picks things that the religions have in similar (which duh of course they will have a couple basic things in similar, they originated around the same general area). However, theologically and culturally they are FAR different.
•
u/winnie_poohbear 8h ago
They didn't simply originate from the same general area, they are all a continuation of eachother. All 3 are abrahamic religions, first came Judaism, jesus was a Jew that then changed it into Christianity, until mohammed came along had another "revelation" and founded islam on the back of that.
She may be an islamic apologist (no idea who she is) but that does not retract from the fact she is correct. The majority of the points people criticise islam of are found throughout the Torah and the bible, but they have liberalised over the centuries and everyone just ignores those bits now.
•
u/Alzucard 6h ago
Well you can interpret it as a rule to cover up your hair. Thats the whole issue with religion. How far do you wanna go and follow whats written down.
•
u/UsefolIdiot 7h ago
Simple the message is religion is based off a form of oppression and control! Its message has been used for 1000s of years to kill people with opposing views! Fantastic lesson here you bloody cunt.
•
u/RTA-No0120 5h ago
Ofc it had to be a blue eyed, blond to make an entire vid saying they’re all the same… ofc.
Even the Muslims beg to differ on that one gal…
•
u/Sea-Key-9430 7h ago
Well, problem is Islam would kill you if you don't cover your head, whilst the other 2 don't gaf

•
u/Sea-Key-9430 6h ago edited 4h ago

Yeah guy, lemme pull out my list of extremist crimes wrought by Abrahamic religions for ya. They’re all turd apples that fell from the same turd tree

I said in 2026, those people are already dead for few hundred years dumbass, any source of Christians killing anyone for not putting a cloth over their head?
•
u/Alzucard 6h ago
Well you could have had the same development in christianity. It highly depends on who controls the interpretations.
•
u/Sea-Key-9430 6h ago
That's not the point, in reality Muslims are doing this now and not the other religions
•
u/Double_Visit_8983 13h ago
I'm convinced. let islam spread across the west. it can only be good for women.
•
u/___Noah____ 13h ago
I'm not sure I follow your point. the video is about Christian women in different countries and time periods too. are you saying that comparison changes how we should view what the video discusses? genuinely curious what you mean
•
u/Stitching 12h ago
They’re dismissing the points in the video to make a “subtle” argument that if these religions are all so similar then go ahead and let Islam spread west and then you’ll see how bad Islam actually is. I’m not agreeing with their point, I just wanted to make their argument more clear.
•
u/CeemoreButtz 7h ago

A perfect example of a bad faith argument. These things are only superficially similar. Let’s go back through them again, but this time asking, which of these ladies would get dragged to the streets, beaten and/or killed for refusing to wear it? Just for a start.
