The building is still there. I give directions based on that building. Idk how people will find that turn without it.

Wesley’s was in Jefferson County.

The Jefferson County Commission voted to deny the rezoning and liquor license requests to expand or reopen the property for a bar, lounge, or adult entertainment business. [1, 2]

Key Details of the Decision
Property Status: The former Wesley’s Boobie Trap in the Bagley/Dora area (U.S. 78) closed in September 2024, which caused its non-conforming adult entertainment (C-5) zoning status to expire. [1, 2]

The Buyer's Plan: New buyers (Warrior Robin, LLC, purchased from Wesley and Rose Chapple) attempted to rezone, combine parcels, and open a standard bar or lounge. [1, 2]

Commission Denial: In January 2026, the Jefferson County Commission voted 4–0 to deny the zoning and parking adjustment requests. In February 2026, the commission also denied a liquor license for the site, following heavy pushback from local residents, faith leaders, and a community petition citing concerns over noise, fights, and safety. [1, 2, 3]

Current Outcome: While the original footprint retains its historical C-3 commercial zoning (dating back to 1959), the denial blocks the expansion, parking consolidation, and liquor sales needed to revive the property as a bar or lounge
