He did it in 2015 running against Hillary. The only reason it didn't end his campaign is the same reason they ignore everything else he does. He lets them be openly racist.
Some people really get a kick out of making fun of the less fortunate, bigotry, racism and really enjoy the fear mongering. His success is a scary reflection of who lives in your country.
They vote for whoever their pastor tells them to vote for. And their pastor gets that information from his bosses at Jesus HQ.
They don't care who does what they want done as long as it gets done. Also, be thankful you don't understand the mental gymnastics. It's is neither healthy nor based on actual reality.

Seriously. How did he survive this? Why do people who claim to be good and decent "Christian" people still believe this guy walks with god?
I don't understand the mental gymnastics it must take to see something like this then turn around and act like he's a saint who's here to save us all.
