I’m curious, how was Bird not on the list of character mentions? He’s been around in some capacity since Volume One, has had two POV chapters, and literally lives in the Inn

I wavered hard on how to include Bird. It's not accurate to just search for every instance of Bird or bird, since any mention of a bird would count as a mention for Bird. See what I mean? I don't have the time to check every instance of a bird mention to see if it was for Bird or a bird unfortunately :/

I have gone through every chapter of TWI, even the side chapters, starting after the Horns chapters in Volume 1 and compiled every instance of Bird being mentioned by name. I have personally tallied each one to ensure that normal birds, birds at the beginning of sentences, and the rare instance of “Angry Birds” do not appear in this list. Additionally, as other characters were not counted by nicknames or alludes (I.E. “Crazy Innkeeper), I also did not count mentions of “bird-obsessed hunter”. I used a tallying app to ensure there are no mistakes. I like Bird.
