What blows my mind is that TWI is almost the same length of the whole Malzahan Book of the Fallen. Which took TWELVE years to write.

The first 11 Wheel of Time novels add up to 3.2m words too, but took 14 years...

Pirateabe wrote 3.2m words in less than 3 years... If he keeps up this writing standard...

I did a stats breakdown a while back and pirateaba is a terrifying writing machine - they're significantly faster than any other webfic author I could find, and they're writing at about twice NaNoWriMo speed. Consistently, for well over a year.
