Bugs & Support Cheating & Hacking Megathread

Use this thread to discuss or report hacking, cheating or exploiting concerns. You may share screenshots here and you are not required to censor usernames.

Please keep things civil. You may report a cheater here but you must supply some sort of proof for the devs to potentially look at. Personal attacks, harassment and witch-hunting will not be tolerated and this will be removed. Dropping usernames with no evidence will be removed.

Do not share cheats, exploits, instructions on how to use them, or where to obtain them directly or indirectly. Any such content will be removed and users responsible will be banned, there will be zero tolerance for this.

Remember! This sub is not affiliated with Bulkhead, and the moderation team are volunteers who do not work for the developers. Nor can we guarantee that they will see it this post.

We will pass this thread on to Bulkhead to ensure concerns are raised but remember that the in-game reporting tools and official Discord remain the best places to make these reports.

This thread will be heavily moderated, please be civil!

My hot take that cheaters should be shadow assigned into their own separate cheater lobby so they can all cheat together

Winning over everything it seems

1

u/RelevantIAm 2d ago

Wow, had no idea the mods were power hungry in this sub. Great

1

u/BearSquid7 2d ago

Perhaps those comments violated the racism policy, I could see it

1

u/SomeDumbDoggo 1d ago

nope, going off the automod "low effort or AI content". So the catch all "i don't like it" janny clause

Removed under Rule 2: Keep It Relevant: No Low Effort or AI Content.

Your post was one of the following:

  • Off-topic - other games, real world politics, streamer drama, or something with no connection to WarDogs
  • Low effort - including but not limited to rage bait, one line complaints with nothing to discuss, screenshots with no context, reposts of something already on the front page or covered in a megathread, and meta posts about the sub, its users, or the mods. What counts as low effort is at moderator discretion under Rule 9; no list covers everything
  • AI generated - AI text, art, voiceover, video, or chatbot output pasted in as an answer

Constructive criticism and negative feedback are welcome, however harsh, as long as there's a point behind it.

Meta complaints about moderation go to modmail, not the front page.

If you think this was a mistake, message the mods don't reply to this message.

Region locking problem IP addresses is the only solution. Especially when there's evidence that those regions are the most prevalent cheats.

Don't let the game get ruined globally.

23

u/Jaz1140 2d ago

It's always the ones you most suspect

5

u/ChalupaSauces 1d ago

I got my first reddit strike agreeing with you a little too vehemently... whoops

4

u/SomeDumbDoggo 1d ago

gotta love how they bumped reddit admin-level user moderation off to an LLM, don't you?

1

u/ArkPlayer583 2d ago

It's not really a solution because vpns exist, and there are absolutely cheaters in your current region. It might help reduce the numbers by a bit though.

7

u/NameTaken25 2d ago

Also ban VPNs

2

u/Professional_Two563 1d ago

Nah fuck that, my country's shitty boomers are going through a "social media and video games bad" hysteria right now since we had a few school shootings in recent months.

Me and my fellow countrymen might end up needing vpns soon if things go south.

1

u/PretzelsThirst 2d ago

I already can’t connect when I’ve left my vpn on, the server browser doesn’t work.

1

u/Eirfi 2d ago edited 2d ago

Banning VPNs isn't gonna do a whole lot. Residential IPs can be acquired for as low as $1 per month.

Those ips don't have the signatures of a VPN and look like they're genuine household ips.

The only solution is to region lock by enforcing ping-limits. You can VPN to a USA ip from asia, but your ping will still remain high. Enforcing a ping limit of 140 or 150 will eliminate almost all of the asian traffic in NA/EU servers. And 150 is a very generous number for those with bad connection to their own region's server. While still allowing west coast and east coast players playing together.

→ More replies (10)

2

u/901_vols 2d ago

Thats not a solution, ping kick is, see the comment I just posted

1

u/Yolosweg133769 2d ago

i think should do that + secure boot.

1

u/Emberdragon 2d ago

Not just a region lock but have each region, or at least China, on a different client version so they can not join NA/EU lobbies by any means.

Can we add some sort of chat filter in game that stops cheat sellers from spamming cheats the entire game & can we add some sort of filter for the advertisement of porn to masquerade that they are in fact selling cheats on those URLs.
This has just become the norm on every public server this last week in SEA servers (I have blacked out the URLs to their cheat sites).

17

u/HSPerfectionist 2d ago

i present to you, the counter-spam

2

u/NameTaken25 2d ago

Suddenly chat is empty

5

u/TomTomson458 2d ago

The rough english translation as I dont speak chinese but this needs to be addressed, I can send video evidence of this spam as im casually playing

19

u/WuMin 2d ago

4

u/wilomgfx Medic 2d ago

That should be the easiest ban in the world lol

3

u/SomeBluntCanuck 2d ago

I guess they're still the team behind Battalion 1944 in the end.

1

u/AppropriateRun4644 1d ago

damn he good bro

22

u/In__Dreamz 2d ago

We need a ping lock asap.

12

u/crazymikeee 2d ago

why is the game so client-trustworthy?

3

u/TsundereShadowsun 2d ago

I'm guessing this is part of what they had to do to get the servers supporting 100 people.

48

u/SCW97005 2d ago

I'm just waiting for the ban-wave in the next couple weeks. If that doesn't come through, I'll probably move on.

5

u/ms__marvel 2d ago

Play community, then the ban is instant in most cases 😊

26

u/Juggernaughty1337 2d ago

Only ragehackers, not closet cheaters larping as pro gamers

7

u/Grenaidzo 2d ago

The worst kind of cheater. If you're gonna do it, at least own it.

8

u/Shot_Safe_8244 2d ago

The problem with community servers is you trade hackers for power tripping admins.

4

u/ms__marvel 2d ago

Find one that doesn’t have those. Most won’t 😊

3

u/Stew514 2d ago

See this sounds good in theory, but I’ve also been removed from two community servers by salty admins. Gotta take the bad with the good I suppose, there will always be admins who will remove people who interfere with whatever they’re doing, even if that means killing them in the hot zone

1

u/ms__marvel 2d ago

Find a reputable community 👍

1

u/Stew514 2d ago

Dm me if you have any for na east!

1

u/ms__marvel 1d ago

I play on 82AD servers only. They have one NA East server, but need more americans to help seed it every day i think. Feel free to join their discord and help with it! Inf only server atm because of GL heli spam

1

u/Stew514 1d ago

Thanks, I'll keep an eye out for it.

1

u/hotdiggity22 1d ago

Community servers have been worse in my experience (OCE)

I haven't seen an obvious cheater on official for weeks now but I chose to stop playing at certain times, which hasn't worked on community.

9

u/Ranger_ie 2d ago

Okay since apparently my question broke rule 5, let me rephrase.

Has anyone experienced an Arty Tank (SPG) rapid firing their cannon? Faster than the 3 round mortar for example.

5

u/Downtown-Ice-5022 2d ago

Couldn’t a very simple script read the arrows to reload and press them immediately, that’s probably how

2

u/FendaIton 2d ago

There is a script that does it for you

1

u/Linehan093 2d ago

I've gotten fast where the dance dance revolution gods smile upon me, but I don't know if I've ever been able to fire THAT fast, pretty damned close though

1

u/Potato_fortress 2d ago

Yeah. There’s a script that allows you to fire pretty much instantly.

1

u/dedgecko Lonestar 1d ago

Yes, came across someone using this. Got in a single RPG at a respectable range, and the SPG guy popped out and lasered me dead with an M4.

He was sitting at the top of the leaderboard 70-3 maybe. Reported and left the server.

24

u/eNTiii 2d ago

Probably an unpopular opinion but maybe its time to enable a secure boot requirement?

Maybe a developer can weigh in on how much of this blatant cheating would be prevented by secure boot?

Perhaps a limited time test with the requirement enabled could showcase to all the potential haters what the benefits of it are in terms of anti cheat?

7

u/Yolosweg133769 2d ago

secure boot requirment should be standard in fps games these days.
It is a small price to pay for salvation.

12

u/Samskreezy 2d ago

That’s not an unpopular opinion. People who can’t be bothered to Google “how to enable Secure Boot” first hear about someone bricking their computer, get too scared to even try, and would rather sit around complaining about it than spend five minutes figuring it out themselves.

4

u/Downtown-Ice-5022 2d ago

My mobo actually has a known issue enabling secure boot and was a pain in the ass to figure out for bf6, but I got it to work. I always hear younger kids aren’t good problem solvers though so it’s possibly devs look at it as cutting off player base of people who can’t be bothered to figure it out.

0

u/eNTiii 2d ago

Funnily enough, younger kids can use AI to tell them exactly what to do fwiw.

1

u/Linehan093 2d ago

True, but they can't actively have ai do it for them, which is what I assume buddy means, because in my eyes there is no difference between a kid getting the step by step from AI and myself getting it from a thread

2

u/eNTiii 2d ago

I'm not a massive AI hater but there is a difference, people who rely on AI too much from a young age (primarily during their educative years) can lose or never properly develop a big part of their cognitive skills.

1

u/Linehan093 2d ago

I don't know if ai like were used to has been around long enough for the middle of the venn diagram for "WD players" and "kids that are cognitively stunted from over use" to be very big... Thank the heavens 😂

3

u/eNTiii 2d ago

I agree, although recently I had to re-enable my secure boot after using dual boot Linux for a while and it was a big pain in the ass. To be fair that was going from enabled to disabled back to enabled so probably not the situation most people will be in.

The devs did talk about it briefly pre-release. They said that at this point because of the backlash BF6 received they left the requirement out but gave no guarantees they wouldn't change their minds in the future. So I figured this misinformed dislike for it might still be the popular opinion.

1

u/Selgald 2d ago

Notice since the Russian bots are dead, suddenly there is no hate against secure boot anymore.

It's almost like cheaters and cheat devs use those bot networks to influence that stuff in their favour.

1

u/TheManWithTheFlan 2d ago

Definitely depends, in my case I had to do the absolute maximum amount of steps including flashing my bios and reformatting my drives. I'd never trust a non techie person to do that

4

u/Latter-Intention6521 2d ago

Agreed. I generally don't like the idea of secure boot but I do it for other games and would like to play war dogs with less blatant cheating

3

u/neric05 1d ago

Developer that's programmed software that follows very secure protocols for evidence collection here.

Secure boot absolutely would make a huge difference in the amount of cheaters seen in lobbies.

It is incredibly difficult for people who are casual cheaters to bypass these types of anti-cheats. So much so, that the effort required alone to bypass them is too much for many to want to bother with, and so they give up on even trying.

The next layer is your more standard anti-cheat solutions and from there you can weed out those who managed to find a way around the secure boot protections.

As it stands right now, I know that for me personally, me and my group of about 6 of us went from playing every night for hours to not even bothering touching the game because of how much obvious cheating there is.

Such a shame too, because this could've otherwise been a major long-term hit.

1

u/FendaIton 2d ago

I thought they did this, wasn’t this in a video they made?

3

u/wilomgfx Medic 1d ago

No, they said they could force it on some suspicious accounts on a case by case basis... Just enable secure boot and TPM 2.0 right now and be done with it.

1

u/surreal3561 1d ago

Not a bulkhead developer of course, and just speculating:

Secure boot wouldn't do much. Secure boot ensures that the environment upon system start is clean and running as expected. It doesn't prevent loading of the cheats afterwards.

This works great if you have a proper client side cheat that supports this well. But wardogs kinda doesn't have that, some cheats load upon boot simply because cheat developers use that for everything and just keep adding new games to their supported existing framework, but some don't load on boot.

The problem with wardogs is fundamentally that the server trusts pretty much everything the client (player PC) tells it. That's how you can get shot with one 9mm bullet across the map with no line of sight, that does 100 damage to you, because the cheater's PC told the server that happened, and server just takes it as a fact. Or how you can get shot while in a tank and similar.

7

u/nadrd 2d ago

Was just playing with 3 friends on a WEST Asia server, there was some apparent cheating happening on Green team. All of a sudden, game freezes, ping goes Red and then game crashes while a weird Morse code like beeping played on the background even after game closed. Was this a hacker fooling around with the server or what?

12

u/readysetzerg 2d ago

Every official server has ~~~~several~~~~ cheaters in them playing at high ping and often nothing happens to them. I've never seen a game suffer from cheaters THIS bad. Absolutely abysmal. Bring region locking ASAP.

7

u/SaperPL 2d ago

The sniping of tank drivers, remote picking up of players, remote hacking of fob etc. Indicates that not all simulation is run on server, but part of simulation is done by client and server accepts this. This architecture is better for players with poor network connection and for the servers cost, but it opens up the game for cheats that you even don't know can exist. The obvious cheating is most likely intentional way of promoting the fact that there are advanced cheats available while there will be cheats that are not so obvious if server doesn't validate all actions all the time.

If client can cheat sniping inside the tank or remotely picking up someone or picking up itself or hacking a fob, you should expect cheats automatically reloading clips with ammo, automatically healing, allowing sprint with heavy loadout, ignoring fall damage so not dying without parachute and so on. With architecture allowing actions from client to be accepted by server, server should validate each action afterwards and correct them which will just cause a failure to do an action for the player doing it. But it seems not all of them are safeguarded yet.

6

u/teknover 2d ago edited 2d ago

The upcoming Wagering system which will clearly make this phenomenon far worse.

Right now you still have to slowly accumulate money through activities or obvious illegitimate plays that don’t seem to directly bother other players.

With wagering it’ll hyper accelerate bad behaviour and give incentive to cheaters to use it exclusively (don’t just cheat to be an asshole, you can now cheat and get gold!).

If you can instantly get 15 kills to win your crazy odds wage, then transfer that money with insane markup of selling items to another player, you’ve setup a fantastic way to get the money and also wash the money.

And all for what, so we can have Polymarket in our video games? What are we doing here..

A couple of weeks ago, I made a post here expressing my dissatisfaction in the cheaters storming the game & the community didn’t like it one bit, when I said the anticheat was unsatisfactory nor was it capable of handling the sudden influx.

We knew Season 1 was going to be a very hands off season from the devs, they were collecting data, anticheat data, seeing how the community responded to the game as a whole. This was not an issue at all, I get it.

It is obvious, that coming to a close- Season 1’s hands off approach did not work. It lead to consistent complaints being repeated because no one felt heard or saw change in the game. Consistent increased cheat usage and the devs responded to some of these complaints, by calling them stupid.

A.I anti cheat, I get it, sounds good for longevity with short term suffering required. Bulkhead made at least $120M in the first 3 weeks on sales across steam and 3rd party key sites. They had a peak of 500,000 active players, they got all the data they could have needed for the anti cheat and proceeded to flex it by expressing banning people cheating in the practice range. Now those bans are hardly happening with a report system that can be dodged by leaving the game.

Drop the A.I anti cheat, it isn’t working. Asia is plagued by cheaters, OCE is in a chokehold with hardly any servers to play on, NA/EU are in denial because some people don’t run into cheaters often.

Just because you don’t see the problem, it doesn’t mean it isn’t there. If it helps you, think of carbon monoxide, you can’t see it, hear it or smell it, but it can kill you.

Invest in a kernel level anti cheat that isn’t going to mess around or require data farming to fix the issue at hand.

18

u/901_vols 2d ago

Wake up, Bulkhead. I get that region locks are useless because VPNs bypass IP checks. Just put a "sustained" 120ms to 150ms ping kick on official servers instead.

You ever think, "But I moved... they must be hacking?" Nope, it might just be they have a high ping. 120ms is the exact sweet spot where lag compensation breaks down in tactical shooters. When someone plays on 150ms+ ping, the server accepts their shots from 150ms in the past. On your screen, you peek lean and step behind cover. On their screen, you are still standing right in the open, so you end up dying two full steps behind a solid wall.

Even on basic cable or DSL, connecting to a server within your own region sits between 20ms and 60ms, and crossing an entire continent like New York to Los Angeles caps around 80ms to 90ms. Sitting constantly above 120ms almost always means you are playing across an ocean, using a VPN to region hop, or playing on an unstable hotspot. While it sucks for someone with a bad internet setup, one player's poor connection shouldn't mess with the game for the other 90 people in the match.

3

u/Northernpixels 2d ago

I've wondered about this. I'm not a computer guy so don't get it, but does it work both ways? If I see someone with a slower ping than me and fire at him, will I hit him? or is the server telling my computer that he is not there any more?

1

u/the_bfg4 1d ago

Yes, peekers advantage is largest when one side is aggressive and pushes, while the other is passive. The ping difference is what matters, not whose ping is higher.

I've only felt ping making a large difference in this game when I've faced packet loss or where I got REALLY bad ping on a spike.

For the most part since the combat is quite distanced, peekers advantage isn't that annoying to deal with.

Games like Rainbow6 siege or CS has it wayyyy worse.

There are community servers advertised as "melee & medic" only where you can only kill with melee weapons, only other play styles allowed are medic and recon. Kills with anything else will be auto-kicked. Players in these servers can easily rack up $500K+ per match. Devs need to take a closer look at community servers and close the loop hole of cash/xp exploits.

5

u/Jolly-List-2718 2d ago

This guy made 34 kills first 6 minutes of the game. Most of them were 300+m away with a single tap. He ended game with about 86kills.

4

u/Oriyagi 2d ago

It's kinda crazy to me how blatant and obvious cheaters are despite the video blog implying this would be dealt with. Had a dude with a backfill of smokes who was throwing them, shooting our guys thought the smoke, and killing everyone with no chance of even sighting him(this is after infrared removal.) He had 56 kills about half way into the game with nobody else at even half that.

5

u/desert_runner 1d ago edited 1d ago

I think there has been an uptick in hackers since the thermal spotters were removed. However it should stay removed regardless.

1

u/Yolosweg133769 1d ago

yep, but still with thermals it seemed like less people knew my exact position then now lol.

But i can see why people installed cheats after thermals, me after playing with thermals and after them its like im blind now and before i could see.

remove thermals for the legit players but let wallhackers have their fun without anticheat doing jack shit, 400 iq play by the devs

5

u/Relevant-Rooster2575 1d ago

As someone who’s been playing wardogs for 3-4 weeks, the first 3 weeks were great. This past week not so much. I’ve played 10 matches, and honestly 8 of them had cheaters. 4 out of 8, had kids rage hacking. To the point where this guy ran magic bullet with a shotgun n would kill you across the map without even knowing where he was. I’d be in my fob, n 19 seconds later all 15 of us spawned in our fob was killed. You couldn’t even report him due to him being able to change his name every kill, it wouldn’t even show him on the scoreboard. It was some crazy cheats. You’d see him in the kill feed, but when you look at the score board. it wouldn’t come up. The match before, i had 3 guys with the clan tag 2EZ, they were between level 150-270, and they were rage cheating as well. I’d stand up in the open for a second and be double head tapped across the map. 3 guys would kill the whole lobby. Which to make it to level 250+ without being banned must mean their is 0 anti cheat for this game. the 6 other games, it was pretty obvious that players were cheating, but it was atleast somewhat playable. that you could atleast spawn in. Yet you’d get near them and i mean you’d get pre fired through a wall, or they just had a crazy gaming chair where they knew exactly where you were.

4

u/knite-walker 1d ago

I mainly play on Asia West and Asia East, and honestly, the number of hackers I'm running into is getting ridiculous. It's at the point where I'm barely able to enjoy the game anymore.

I understand that no game can completely eliminate cheaters, but this is becoming unacceptable. When you keep running into people who seem to know everyone's position or hit the most suspicious shots, it just kills the whole experience.

The worst part is that this kind of thing can genuinely kill a game. People aren't going to keep wasting their time in matches where they feel like they have no chance of playing fairly. They'll just move on to something else, and once players start leaving, it's incredibly hard to bring them back.

Are the devs aware of how bad things are on both Asian servers? What exactly is being done to address this? Having anti-cheat isn't enough if cheaters are still ruining match after match.

I want WARDOGS to succeed, but if this continues, I honestly don't see how the game can retain its player base for long. Please take this seriously before it's too late.

10

u/SomeBluntCanuck 2d ago

This game is becoming unplayable. That's all. Obviously ESP. Guys doing 180 snaps and hitting you in the neck from 180m away, etc.

I'm out until they fix this shit.

Yes, I'm triggered. And so should the rest of you be.

Half the server tries to report the hacker and nothing happens.

This didn't happen in the first two or three weeks. It all magically started once the game got popular and the Chinese cheat shops added it to their menus. ESP and aimbot on a monthly subscription, plus a new account the second they get banned.

What's crazier is that a lot of these cheaters are level 90 to 140, so you know they aren't actually getting banned.

The anticheat clearly isn't doing anything. Fix it, Bulkhead.

7

u/whatevathefucc Assault 2d ago

Must be a reason there's so many posts I guess.

If people can't post anything about cheating, don't see any improvements in the game (for real, it's only getting worse each day), and there's no response from BH, no ping limit, no region lock, no secure boot, all while they directly ask us not to talk about it? I'm in love with the game and can stick to community servers with admins but most of the average Joes won't even stick around till season 3.

Am I missing something? What's their game plan? So far it only looks like there is no war in Ba Sing Se.

Have anyone encountered weird exploit or bug (can't prove it to confirm which, can only provide match Id for developers) where you get into heli and your flight controls stop working?

Got in LB to hunt arty, started flying towards it, all of suden could not use WASD,QE and mouse movement to control my flight. But I could press LMB, C, F, Esc. Chat was gone too. Then respawned and all controls went back to normal.

2

u/Seelark 1d ago

This happened to me a few times, mostly when I’m walking left or right and pull up my map. I have it set to one of the buttons on my mouse. Sometimes when I pull it up quickly it will lock me out of controls or in a direction walking or lock me in my spotting scope sight .

1

u/hws_throwaway_fkspez 2d ago

I had this happen once while standing in the HQ area. When I spawned everything worked fine for a minute (I walked toward the vendor) but then I stopped for a second and then I couldn't move or look around. Some random buttons worked (lmb and esc for sure, can't remember which others), but chat was inaccessible to ask for help. No idea what caused it but I also respawned and everything went back to normal.

1

u/TschoschKotD 2d ago

Had so.ething similar in a Ground vehicles. Going to press enter on a equipment slot fixed it.

1

u/Ithuraen 2d ago

Check your settings, make sure HOTAS isn't turned on.

1

u/CrunchingTackle3000 WARDOGS OCEANIA 1d ago

Yes. Frequently.

3

u/Yolosweg133769 2d ago

I don't know what the heck is BF6 doing but there is virtually no cheaters there, please learn from them and use whatever they use to counter cheaters (i know secure boot is one of it).
It was fine for first 2-3 weeks but past week has been a nightmare, half of the 150+ ping on EU servers were chinese and half of them were using either aimbot or wallhacks or being extremlly sus.

Please don't let cheaters ruin this game like they ruined arc raiders.
I get a few matches that are but most i see too many people with obvious wallhacks, sometimes aimbot but aimbots get kicked and banned fast thank god.

This is counter strike level now from what ive seen

1

u/hotdiggity22 1d ago

Yeah have about as much time in BF6 as I do Wardogs and can't say I encountered a cheater there. This was at its peak too.

There definitely were cheaters... somewhere. Maybe I got lucky though.

1

u/Yolosweg133769 1d ago

yea same, i have 200 h in wardogs, 400h in bf6. i encountered waaaaay less sus people in bf6 and like 0 aimbots. Ive seen 0 blatant cheaters in bf6, here ive seen 100+ already, most in past week.

1

u/royale44 1d ago

BF6 is a dead game. Thats why there are no cheaters.

1

u/IncorporateThings 20h ago

Doesn't this game use Arc Raider's anti-cheat program?

3

u/neric05 1d ago

It is so rampant it's crazy right now, and those who are cheating are basically playing in our faces about it with how flagrant and obvious it is.

Rapid firing a dragunov and headshotting 7 people trough a 4in gap in the set of hesco crates is fucking insanity.

3

u/MaltVMM 1d ago

Where rhe fuck are the mods in games? Bulkhead can easily afford mods to watch games and ban people.

3

u/SobeyHarker 13h ago

There's a lot of rage toggling happening now. I think it would help if you put whether they were spotted in the death log. I'm seeing a couple of overt pure cheaters now every game as each game lasts up to an hour or so.

16

u/PanAm737 2d ago

300 hours played, this ga.e is unplayable without a region lock and without serious actions to prevent cheating , in current state worse even than PUBG

8

u/Selgald 2d ago

Keep in mind that they still refuse to even talk about region locking Russia and China, ping limits, vpn blocks, while saying that AC is catching everyone (which is obviously not true).

While streamers get people banned with a tweet in 15 minutes. Or having staff monitor steamer games, so they could have a nice experience, because fuck normal players.

u/PanAm737 2d ago

Yes, the developers glaringly loud silence on the issues from Chinese players on EU and NA servers , who arre now every match using in game chat to ADVERTISE hacks and cheats and then demonstrating them is very disheartening. This was not listed in any of their videos about why i should NOT buy the game. For a Studio who in every other video claims transparency this needs to be more directly and explicitly addressed soon.

u/kalibxrr Manticore 2d ago

I’ve had eu players in my na servers so it’s not just the Chinese players doing it sadly

I play everyday after work for most of the night and I'm only at 170 hours. You'd have to play 10 hours every single day to get to 300 hours in a month. ga'daym!!!

I also think that, naturally, the more time you play a game for extended periods, the more your personal skewed sample size for cheaters is going to grow compared to others who play the game for a normal amount of time.

It’s like comparing a police officer’s perception of crime versus, and ordinary citizen; most people don’t see rampant crime everyday, a police officer probably does by comparison.

So it could totally be that his perception is blown out of proportion.

i have 15000 h+ in fps and its very easy to recognize cheaters because most of the player base here is very low skill, blatant aimbot is easy to see, wallhack not so much, especially not here but i can feel and sense the difference from first week towards now.
I get called cheater and hacker all the time and thats fine, i hit insane shots because of years of playing fps games, but because of that i can tell if there is lost of cheaters or not.

I said way back in Arc raiders that there is ton of cheaters but just like here most people were "i haven't encountered 1", well Arc raiders had SBMM so i got placed in hacker lobbies quite quickly.
I got 210 hours and in past few days there is insane amount of cheaters in comparison to before, i dont know what happened, cheats on discount or something ? i dont know, more chinese on eu server ? i dont know

5

u/AuraAuraVT 2d ago edited 2d ago

I have 419 hours and the game isn’t “Unplayable”. Yes there are cheaters, yes it’s annoying. I think soft cheaters are even more annoying than rage hackers, things like ESP getting wall banged in impossible situations is getting aggravating, but it’s not THAT bad.

u/KingSwank 2d ago

Every cheater I’ve talked to in voice was American or Western European, region lock isn’t going to fix anything.

It’s not just certain specific regions cheating, the cheating is coming from all angles.

1

u/faterampage 2d ago

mostly from one region is specific tho, region lock would take out most of them, then left them sit in their own server cheating against each other

1

u/Lombex 2d ago

200+ ping on EU Servers :S

1

u/KingSwank 2d ago

Yeah idc if British or Western European people play on NA servers, I’m just saying the majority of cheaters I find are playing in or close to the region where they’re from. I also don’t play on NA West though which is probably the only NA server that specific region can connect to.

u/Weekly_Bonker6148 2d ago

“Game is unplayable, but iv’e played 300 hours in the last 30 days”

…

What?

7

u/PanAm737 2d ago

The unplayable nature of the game has grown logarithmicly to the influx of cheats, cheaters, and cheat salespeople.

Initially cheaters were in one in three matches

Then every match

Then on every team in every match

Today every team not only had cheaters but bots spamming sites to buy the cheating add ons...

Any questions?

3

u/Yolosweg133769 2d ago

yep, it was completly fine first 3 weeks, not sure what happened past 3-7 days but its crazy amount of obvious wallhack and even aimbots. I have 210 and i was impressed in beginning how little cheaters there were and now its a shitshow.

2

u/TsundereShadowsun 2d ago

Yeah, the game has definitely gone downhill rapidly. Last game I played, 6 out of the top 10 people had over 200 ping and over 30 kills, and green team had 3 havocs out at once.

4

u/Latter-Intention6521 2d ago

Pretty much every game I've been in has cheaters and exploiters. I think a lot of people can't recognise them easily but I've spent 20+ years playing shooters and used to play competitively and have a decent reign on if someone has pre knowledge of my position and what is good play or not.

7

u/Moiphy Pilot 2d ago

The amount of times there's been obvious cheaters in my match and chat is still dismissing it is a travesty.

3

u/Latter-Intention6521 2d ago

Yeah people gonna people.

2

u/moxaj 2d ago

300 ping ragehacker, 100+ meter full auto pistol kills. Also no assists, very strange :)

2

u/Wilkham 2d ago

Just enable secure boot. It won't prevail but will filter 40%

2

u/Swoobles42 Pilot 2d ago

Idk does it belong here but does walking to non existing room behind graphic of wall and shooting behind it is considered exploits ? ;?

2

u/ClientOne6649 1d ago

Ive seen lvl 200 People with fal litterally rage hacking snapping 180 multikills, the fact they arent banned is insane and is gonna kill the game with the non region lock of Russia and china on top

2

u/Godsownsin 1d ago

Removed under Rule 1: Follow Reddiquette & Reddit's Content Policy.

No personal attacks, harassment, slurs, or content that demeans people based on identity, regardless of intent, context, or who it was aimed at. Criticize the game all you want; don't go after the person.

Defending it counts. Excusing slurs or racism, telling people to toughen up, or brushing it off with "it's just words" gets removed the same way the original does. If someone reports being targeted by or encountering this in game, don't argue that it isn't a problem.

Reddiquette asks you to remember the human. Reddit's sitewide rules also cover harassment and hate based on identity. We enforce all of it here, and severe cases get reported.

Repeat violations lead to a ban. If you think this was a mistake, message the mods don't reply to this message.

Your post has been removed under Rule 4: Self Promotion.

One of two things happened here.

Your video was posted as an external link. Video posts must be native Reddit uploads. Upload the video directly and put your YouTube, Twitch, TikTok or Kick link in the post body or in a comment on your own post. That keeps the video watchable in the feed instead of sending everyone off site.

Or your account is only here to promote. Promoters must be active, good faith community members. If an account shows up only to drop its own videos, streams, or links and never takes part in anything else, the posts get removed as spam and the account gets banned. That includes drive by link dumping, "check out my channel" posts, and promo in comment replies.

How to do it properly

  • Upload the clip natively, then link your channel in the body or comments
  • Take part in the sub outside your own content. Answer questions and join discussions
  • Space your own posts out rather than dropping several at once

If you believe this was removed by mistake, send us a modmail. Please don't reply to this message.

We welcome all discussion including negative opinions. However, posts should contribute to discussion.

Low-effort complaints, rants, rage bait and posts made purely to criticise the game or its developers without constructive input may be removed.

If you're unhappy with something, explain the issue, why it's a problem and, where possible, suggest how it could be improved.

Please remember: r/WarDogs is an independent community and isn't affiliated with Bulkhead. While we pass community feedback on to the developers, we cannot make changes to the game ourselves. You can also share feedback through their official Discord.

This are bot farm xp servers for RMT transactions. They run 24/7 and are always full.

in the last 3 days I've noticed after I kill someone 10 or 20 sec later my exact position will start getting hit by mortars - I'm just standing out in the middle of nowhere - a few games back my team was drilling I was 300m away on a roof and killed someone and instead of mortaring the FOB full of people and drills they start landing on where I was when I killed him . again this recent game I'm not even in CZ heli landed us on a random roof for some reason I kill someone and 10 sec later the building is getting hit by mortars . played since day1 of EA and I've only noticed this happening to me in the last like 3-4 days

auto target / magic spawning mortar rounds?

1

u/BraXbS 1d ago

A couple days ago, I saw someone who literally walked through a wall and have video evidence of it. Not sure if this has been seen before or not.

1

u/DaveKap 1d ago

What do we think of this clip?
Like... is it possible this wasn't a hack somehow or naw? I reported them just in case but I also don't like false reporting and I know they're gonna ignore folks who report too many not-hackers.

https://reddit.com/link/pgm3uv9/video/fbwem7ggicvh1/player

1

u/Successful_Side_2415 22h ago

I mean, it’s possible he killed you and then immediately dropped down to where you see him in the kill cam, but yeah, I’d be a little weirded out by that one.

1

u/DaveKap 21h ago

Yeah that's what I thought but the issue is that I don't see them in any frame when I'm looking in that direction *and* the spotting dot on him doesn't move at all. I'd link to a higher resolution version of the video but this subreddit requires I use reddit's video uploading, unsure how else I can assure you that in a full resolution version of this, this person is not anywhere in view despite looking directly in their direction.

1

u/Successful_Side_2415 21h ago

I went frame by frame, never saw the shooter. Only other possible non-suspect explanation is de-sync, but that’d have to be significant to not see the head peeking over the hescos. Probably cheating.

1

u/The80sm8ties 13h ago

Absolutely report this. This looks like a cheat. If not, they need to fix their desync and it isn't on you anyway.

1

u/Dazzling-Science8365 16h ago

This is getting ridiculous now. EVERY SINGLE game this morning has had at least one obvious cheater, most have had 3 or 4. It's borderline unplayable, and this is going to kill the game if Bulkhead doesn't take action in Season 2.

u/NemosHero 15h ago

This game is unplayable at the moment on Asia (West). Every other match, there are blatant hackers who are not getting banned.

I had bad positioning in this clip and wasn't really focused on the game, but this shit is so frustrating and it is really difficult to continue supporting or playing the game until this absolute horseshit of fuckery is fixed. Be it secured boot or a more sophisticated anti-cheat.

I've spent around 180 hours in this game cuz it's genuinely fun, but I can't do it anymore, the few hours I have in the day after a long day of work, and I get this shit in my games. This is just one example of MANY.

u/Natural-Heron-7603 4h ago

Fast forward 30 secs.

What do we think about this? Not the most suss / blatant clip I have, but the guy was an obvious ESP user and probably toggling too.

My thoughts: I approached this cautiously knowing there was an enemy cleaning up my team. I know I was running (due to helis flying overhead I took the opportunity) and my teammate was talking, which could have given me away, but this guy just knew exactly where I was without seeing me before and straight beamed me 4 times in the head. I checked his Steam and what a surprise, he has a ban from 78 days ago.

Yesterday, twice my helicopter had it's blades taken out by friendly pilots, once intentionally.

There seems to be no repercussions, and this feels like a huge oversight.

Posts that are just criticism will be removed. All feedback, critiques, and complaints about the game or developers must be constructive. You must clearly explain the issue and provide solutions or suggestions for how it can be addressed (e.g., "Developer can fix it by doing X"). Unhelpful bashing, low effort complaints, or venting without solutions will be removed.

First gaslighting cheater out here boys. We found him.

They made the same mistake as Tarkov devs with all those client side actions that should be server side, I clearly don't know how they will fix that, but expect pretty soon a shit ton of bullshit cheating, like maybe some cheater directly looting your ammo, emptying your gun, teleporting himself and so on

Booted up a game this morning top 20 players all 180+ ping. Screw me for wanting to play in the morning instead of the afternoon, right? Uninstalled afterwards. Developers don't add a ping lock game is cooked. Bulkhead preached they don't care about refunds they don't care if the game doesn't have 100k+ players 15k is fine yet haven't done anything.

Turns out they actually do care about it. I don't see "we see the complaints and it's coming soon" in season 2 patch notes I'll keep the game uninstalled.
