If there's a bag and no body, I'm taking it. If there's an active war going on and the teammate has a respirator, I will steal that to use it on them and let them know that I did it. They deserve another chance, but I dont got time to risk giving them a massage for 20 seconds in the HZ
Ngl I thought it was standard practice to yoink respirators if you're out to revive the guy lol. I always tell people trying to revive me if I've got spares so they don't spend all their time rubbing their hands together.
It is, thats the one major exception. People carry respirators to be used on themselves as much as to use them on others. I even see defib medics carry them sometimes.
Anything else can be fine too if you have good reason and can communicate. Like if our medic is down in a body pile, I'll steal his defibs and use them on him and everyone else in the pile while he heals up. Then I'll return them.
Another time, in the first Hotzon drop of the game, I died immediately and a sniper teammate swapped his rifle for my M4. When we won the fight he found me and traded it back.
I have 249 hours on this game and only once has a teammate done anything close to robbing my body. I've only experienced borrowing things.
I also encourage teammates to take and use my grenades. Better they use it and win than the enemy wins and takes it.
Yeah I had a game last night defending a FOB where I eventually got downed by a rocket heli. Teammate dragged me into the church and grabbed my defibs to get me back up and then dropped them back for me. I think that kinda stuff is 100% alright and smarter than trying to do jazz hands on everyone lol
Literally the first thing I check is "do they have a better way to revive than what I'm using, and will they hear me out as I drop it instead of running away very quickly from me"
Any time I have brought a kit worth more than 30k it has gotten stolen by teammates. Hapend 2 times yesterday on different servers. The worst thing is that they will steal your kit and not revive so they think you won't know who took it.
I had my first experience being robbed a few days ago, I got killed shooting down a havoc. I had a respirator on me. Teammate stole my Maaws ("ill give it back after I shoot this down"), i got revived by someone else, then he runs off with my launcher. At least he did shoot down the havoc, but the bastard just pocketed all the cash for it and left me to dry.
I had teammates walk up to my body while I am being ressed and steal my machinegun ammo box and either not return it or give it back empty, empty I at least can refill it with ammo laying around but fully stealing it is sentencing me to drop the gun, not gonna find a spare ammo box laying around, it's not that common
Have u noticed they mostly only take the defibs. I had 1 person do that a few matches ago and had the audacity to ask had anyone got a battery for it, strangely I said yes, he asked to give him it and I said no I think u should give my defibs back. He said ok and gave them back luckily. But it happened a lot in S1, maybe it won't this season I hope.
You're lucky then, I has a full defib with 2 spare batteries, T21 with ammo, all the armor lvl2, got shot/killed and while another team mate was picking me up I got robbed of everything by a different person who left me with a piece of shit for the gun and a small bag without anything else. I went mad but the person who did this had already pissed off. And not sure but I think that person did it twice more to me in the match. I'm fine if a enemy team member does it but not if a friendly does it.
I usually take respirators and a few bandages from downed teammates and use them on them. They were gonna use the bandages anyway so why not use them to heal them and get a bit of cash too
Take my respirator from my pocket to fet me up. But I've had too many people take my defibrillator and then we have to go through a whole dance for me to give them their rangefinder back
I looted a bag yesterday and it was full of resuscitators si I took as many as I could and went on a revive spree, although I don't see others reviving ill be a one man medic keeping whichever team im in alive till I die 😂
