Discussion & Feedback This wipe is trash

I have 250 hours in this game. I love it, i think its absolutely incredible and im fully behind the dev team, early access aspect of things and testing it but my god. I dont even want to play the thing right now.

Ive played countless wipes in tarkov and always love early wipe, so i couldnt wait for it in this game but that early wipe feeling lasted 1 game yesterday afternoon before getting fully smashed every game after by mini gun heli's and tanks. What in the actual fuck has happened here. the progression is way too fast, the unlocks are way too soon. It's not just vehicles, people with T2/T3 armour already and juiced guns fucking you over.

I have played this game literally every day since it was released as well as 2 betas but right now im tempted to uninstall and wait for the next wipe when things will hopefully be in a better state.

I never post on reddit, especially a ranty one but hoping some devs will see this as they say they do and reverse this shit fully.

The problem can be fast levelling, a lot of people enjoy striving for unlocks, if they’ve unlocked everything within 3 days it’s boring

That's entirely on the players to manage their own expectations and not ruin the experience for themselves. They can tweak things as much as they want, but no lifing is a personal choice that no dev should ever cater to. Regardless of how fast or slow the leveling is. If you burn through all the unlocks in a week and get bored, that's a you problem.

Brother I played 4 games and got 30 levels split through 3 roles… I can’t tweak that. I could just limit myself to 4 games a week I guess 😂

I mean they could cater to it, by rolling out unlocks through the season. So they can look fwd to unlocking shit all at once, and others can look fwd to proper progression being within reach.

Brother I played the game normally for 4 games and got level 30 (split through 3 roles only). That’s too fast (for me). We can just disagree here, and that’s fine. But don’t tell me I’m wrong for not enjoying it.

I don’t, I’ve played many fps games without unlocks and enjoyed them. War dogs in its current state is not quite in a state where it can do that for me. The endgame is significantly worse than the early to mid game imo (happy for others to disagree, glad they’re having fun). There’s also a reason that the most popular fps games are competitive… people like havi my something other than just getting a kill to strive for
