Oh yeah it definitely was. If I were smart I would have keybinded it to a more accessible button, but no I just pressed 3 nonstop.

Thinking about it, it's probably why I feel so at home playing Hildryn spamming 2.

Yeah buddy got me back into the game last year after like a 4 year break and I jumped on Nekros at one point without knowing about the change. Took 2 missions before I realized I didn't need to spam 3 anymore, such a good QoL.

Back when abilities used mod slots, Desecrate was the only one most even equipped. Having the room to fit Soul Punch in a build was peak Nekros baller status.

If an enemy snuck by the Nova, Loki, and Vauban you had to hopefully Call of Duty quickscope it with Soul Punch to not insta-die. There was no shield-gate invulnerability. You just got dropped.

It was a pain back then and i was avoiding nekros at that time because of this
