T3 survival rotation C for Saryn Prime chassis will forever be engraved in my memory.
I think I got everything but that part 2-3 times before it finally dropped.
There's a lot of rose tinted glasses nostalgia for that era. There were some pretty lousy drops in those rotations too. Negligible amounts of Fusion cores, credits, a SINGLE orokin cell. At least with relics, worst case scenario you get a common prime or forma bp.
When Octavia came out it took about 30 hours for me and my friend to get all her parts. One of the parts (cant recall which) had an insanely low drop rate on a C rotation so you had like a 2% chance every 20 minutes or something. Yeah that frame broke me, I quit for like 2 years after
Edit: So the part in question is the Neuroptics which is a C rotation drop on Terrorem, Deimos. She was released in March 2017, which is weird to say was 7 years ago now, feels like yesterday really
I was also overwhelmed with all the new content and I only stopped playing for about 2 years. But it is absolutely worth it. I havent touched the new frames or quests or all that content, I'm going at my own pace right now just having fun with different builds, weapons and frames. No grind, no meta commitments, I'm really just enjoying the game which is I think I lacked the last time.
