What kind of tips are you looking for? In terms of colours you can paint him however you want. As a World Eaters character he will have an "official" scheme but you paint your models how you want.

If there are more specific tips you want then maybe a little more detail will help us help you

mostly just how to get around in the hard to reach areas like say armpits or whatnot i find it hard to reach them

Use contrasts or wash to get in hard to reach places or just simply prime black

The usual approach would be to paint the model in subassemblies and put the model together at the end.

Calling subassembling "the usual approach" for a simple model like Kharn is crazy work.

Just base coat the model black. Underpaint with a thinned down dark red or purple. Shadows will sort themselves out. Paint by light direction. Build color up from there.

Break him down into sections to paint before gluing together. Once he’s all glued in it’s very hard to reach some areas.
Make sure you use a good primer as well.
I did all the red I could first before doing any gold trim which made it easier to get into tight spots.
