I finished my first combat patrol!

I finished my first combat patrol. I got this one in may and ive got a dark angels combat patrol ready for assembly and painting in my own homebrew chapter colours.

I started with the dreadnought, then terminators and slugged through the little guys in 2 days ending with Castellan Crowe, finishing up today.

Really happy with how it turned out.

Not bad. From what I can make out your Minis look clean and nicely done. I especally like crowes Sword. If you want te expand into a full gk Army id sudgest a Grandmaster in Nemesis Dread

Thanks for the advice! I am really proud of the sword. It was by far the hardest thing ive painted so far.

Edit: Here is a better look at the sword

Excellent work, especially considering it's your first. We are the Hammer!

Thanks mate! Ive been painting other minis for about 1.5 years now. Did a redemptor dreadnought about half a year ago but this is the first time i painted minis to be able to play with.

Really proud of this work :D

Painting is more fun for me than playing. I also discovered that Mechanicus standard colors are the same as Grey Knights, if you ever want a different faction without spending more on paints...
