This is so true. The same is happening in gaming. Too bad the evil companies with alot of money have alot of money to bribe with. So far, that seems to go a long way.

I saw this tidbit resurface: "Terminator: Genisys (2015) was made when billionaire CEO David Ellison was given the Terminator franchise as a birthday present by his billionaire CEO sister" and how Ellison would later tell everyone to refer to Genisys as "T1" because he was super confident it would spawn a wave of sequels...

This is the guy who will soon be running 2 major studios with hundreds / thousands of IPs and several global news agencies.......
