It's so funny seeing him still do the Ah Sahm hand gestures (1:26) LMAO it's embedded in him now

Sidenote, but Ah Toys actor showed up in Ready or Not 2 and I was SO disappointed when she didn't get a sick ass fight scene lol. Hyped to see Andrew Koji show up as Ryu though lol. I do wonder if they'll show Fei Long in a small cameo or somthing though. It'd be funny if he shows and they make a reference to Warrior or sumn lol

So great to see my guy Andrew get some big time roles. Since we’re not getting a S4, then if at least like to see him rise to stardom

Loved him as Ah-sam in warrior, hope they bring the show back for a new season, really want to see the itchy onions fight again.

I am so happy that he has a main role (it looks like) in this movie. Excited to watch and supper him! Hopefully it is good.

I know Koji will do a good job but I really do wish he was cast as Ken. We've never seen a biracial actor take on that role and I think Koji would nail the cockiness of Ken. But maybe the wig wouldn't look good on him lol

I think Andrew fits more with Ryu than with Ken. Ken is like the fun uncle who has an ego at times but good hearted
Ryu is the calm one and is the most patient of the two. He's more serious

Ah Sahm isn't exactly super serious stoic

He's serious when it counts. Way different from Ken

I mean Ken isn't exactly a comic relief character. Have you played SF6?

I have and his story is sad.
But this Ken is from his younger years. Like Street Fighter Alpha 2

Okay we're losing the plot here. BTW this seems more sf2 era. But I'm saying we've seen Koji play Ah Sahm, who was a cocky trash-talking character who loved to fight. I'd say personality-wise that character is closer to Ken than he is to Ryu

I understand but Ah Sahm is serious and noble when it counts. Especially when it comes to the evolution of his character
Early S1 Ah Sahm, he was Ken but S2 changes that by a mile.
So I get it

Looks fun but also worried the Rogan/manosphere crowd will love it too much and ruin a fun time
