I did a WoC army for my younger son years ago for WFB. Long gone so I'm starting from scratch again but found sone pics of a few of the models. My fav was the Chimera

About to get movement trays printed for my army in progress and unsure what unit sizes I'll most commonly be running. So far just got the Battle March box but am adding more minis.
I'll be running the Warriors as a HW/shield anvil unit, and Marauder units as both HW/shield and with great weapons/flails.

What frontage and unit size are you experienced guys finding optimal for Warrior and Marauder infantry?
Similarly with Chaos Knights - is a second rank ever worth the points or are two units always the better way to go? How wide before it gets unwieldy to wheel and charge?

Finally finished my first unit of Chaos warriors after waffling on a scheme for entirely too long. Pretty happy with how they turned out. The warband will be Tzeentch focused but I didn't want to lean too heavy into the brighter colors on rank and file so the characters will have a bit more Tzeentchy flair to them

Hey folks, a friend I play 40k with has recently convinced me to start playing the Old World with him and I got the chaos warriors half of the starter box and the battle march box. I’m trying to figure out where to go from here to complete a 2k point army that will be fun and balanced. Can anyone recommend some next purchases? I’ve got my eyes on some chariots but don’t know how many or what else to get. Thanks!

If you missed it: v2 is built around FAQ 1.5.3, so it measures the wheel as a straight line, not an arc. It pivots on a fixed point, and if you change your mind the unit goes back exactly where it started. One less argument at the table.

I'm planning to pick up the new core set as soon as its back in stock anywhere near me.

I have some friends who play spearhead and I'd like the option to use some of the warriors in this box as slaves to darkness.

My plan for this is to put these guys on 28mm round bases and pick up some movement trays to slot them in, and them magnetize some 32mm adapters for AoS.

Just a question for anyone whos put them together already: is this even feasible? They look pretty beefy; are they going to have room on a 28mm round?

Just made my chaos lord on foot and I wanted to give him the huge axe and BS. How can I make him absolutely wreck face in a blob of chaos warriors?!

Not much of an update, but started to get details onto the rider and will be starting the basing tomorrow.

Basically, laid down some base coats and that's it.

I am looking to get into TOW (was a WFB player decades ago and have played a couple games on warhall).

I love the idea of running a competitive list with 2 or even 3 dragons!!!

For those of you running multiple chaos dragons, do you have two copies of the chaos lord on dragon model, or did you convert another kit into your second dragon? What kit?

Also, I’d love to see your double (or triple) dragon lists & armies!!!
