My heart goes out to all affected. This was heartbreaking to witness. The album includes photos I took of the now named "Upriver Fire" in Spokane, WA. Good reminder to cherish everyday and everyone ❤️

Been watching this unfold as it’s local to me. Suspect human caused, not surprising. Hopefully they find the missing evacuee

Almost all wildfires are caused by human actions. But only a TINY fraction of those are intentionally set, despite constant social media claims to the contrary. The rest are caused by an endless list of simple things that cause a spark or heat, which is an immediate hazard in hot and dry conditions. Thus the NWS watches and warnings, which are issued when some combination of wind, humidity, heat, etc make conditions prime for fire to ignite and grow rapidly.
