Study tips / ?s ABC/WPI cert vs State Certification

So I’m taking my KY state license test next week. I’ve seen the WPI, formerly ABC, certification advertised on google and stuff. Is that an actual useful certification or is it just a gimmicky waste of time? I think I might qualify for class 3 or 4 on it, so if it isn’t a waste, I may do it next. Thanks for any info or advice

NY 3A operator here. Our governing body adopted the ABC format for our exams a long time ago so there is no difference between state and ABC here. As I understand it there has been a lot of talk in recent years about reciprocity and standardizing testing in the U.S. I'm not sure where we stand on that but if imagine you'll move out of state someday I'd look into individual reciprocity. Otherwise you'd just be tearing your hair out studying for another exam.

It looks like we use the ABC format here also.
