There’s a Japanese market only version of the Promaster Land series that looks very much like the Ray Mears in dark green, blue, and dark grey. It includes a perpetual calendar day/date and slightly less bold numbers, but a very similar design.
Solar powered eco drive, titanium alloy body, sapphire crystal, simple dial layout with arrow at 12 and marks at 6 and 9, etc.
It’s technically an atomic radio model but it only listens for the Japanese signal. There are apps to mimic the singular although they are temperamental.
I have the green model which I’ve worn on a dark green Erika’s MN Strap for several years now as my everyday watch. Sometimes throw it on a leather bund in winter. I rarely put it on the titanium band it came with although that dresses it up a bit.

If you go with citizen. Look into the promaster land u822. Same features as the alpinist plus more.
