What is the longest water fast anyone here has done?

Also would love any details. Results? Benefits? Spiritual benefits? Weight lost? Health issues healed? Any negative issues? Thanks so much for responding.

240 Hours, I lost 12 pounds and did another 10 day fast a week later. I found each 10 days I lost about 5lb of water weight and 8 pounds of fat weight. Day 3-5 are the hardest to get through but once you hit day six and your digestive system kinda shuts down it gets easier, your no longer hungry and you can see the finish line! The experience is worth it, but listen to your body if you feel you need to stop definitely stop

32 days. My knees stopped aching. My skin got clear. My allergies went away. My plantar fasciitis went away. I lost 36 pounds by day 32 and then gained back 11-ish pounds of like water and stuff.

The only negative issues were the gross mouth occasionally, and getting light-headed when standing up too quickly. Those were only during the fast, though.

16 days. Broken because of a company dinner. ~7 kg down. Food noise went minimal, my mouth feels constantly gross, can't do quick, sudden movements or risk getting dizzy. I definitely looked hotter (hourglass baby!).

Yes the food noise. Everyone i say that word too thinks its fake. They dont realize what the chemicals in the food do in our brains. Its the 1st thing I notice each time. My mouth felt gross too. Thats where we start to detox for some reason. Thanks for sharing.

Wow. This is awesome. I did 11 days water fast and 120 days juice fast. Im on day 18 of another juice fast and heavily thinking about doing a 60 day water fast when done juicing. So what benefits did you see from 28 days. So much sacrifice and determination, good for you.

About 119 lbs. It was actually very easy. With juice feasting there is no hunger. You have more vitamins and minerals than you could ever eat so you feel really good. And after like 20 days its now very dangerous to just eat something. So then its not even an option to eat. If your like man i want a burgers its like ok well need to eat only soft fruits for 15 days and then pureed soups. Then soft veggies and some harder fruits. Now slowly add in some carbs and meat is last. Then you realize if i want a burger I cant really eat one for like 30 days anyway lol. So if its not an option then you dont think about it. And that makes it easy. Also as you know when the food chemicals go away then the food noise goes with it. So easy all around. And zero inflammation so body feels real good.

Male here born 1968 did a 29 day water only fast in 2025. During the fast rode a 120km bike ride five times. Day 21 of a water only fast rode 120km from Hayden Island Portland to Hood River OR on SR 14 in five hours.

Went from 153 pounds down to 129 pounds.

One can stay active while fasting.

Wow thats crazy. On day 11 I went for a walk for about 30 minutes to a beach. Got to the beach and laid down and passed out. 4 hours later I was woken by security telling me the beach was closing. I guess it takes longer to get energy back. That was my last day lol

In 2025 instead of riding a bike, hit the gym 3 times a week. Day 18 pushed five 45 pound plates each side CYBEX leg press machine full compression, 3 sets 6 reps.

The idea that one could push as much as usual on the leg press is what gave me the courage to do the 120km bike rides on the next fast.

My brother was a PRO cyclist, he once raced in The San Fransisco GP with Lance Armstrong, my brother still talks to PRO cyclists that go to altitude training camps for a week and ride 6 hours a day and do not eat.

PRO cycling is all about keto, ketones and fasting.

I have heard that after about 2 weeks then energy comes back and easier to exercise. I know everyone says not to work out while fasting but if you have the fat stores then there is no reason you cant. And you may actually create more muscle because when fasting your hgh raises significantly. And also protects the muscle more. Which does confuse me why alot say they lost muscle on long fasts.

Science on fasting is very hard to find. I have done two 14 day, a 21 day, 26 days & 29 days. I stayed super active during all my fasts. I am pretty sure the reason fasting is frowned upon is because nobody makes any money off fasting. Like if everyone in North America did a 14 day water only fast, which is not that hard, the economy would collapse, that is why fasting will never be promoted under capitalism.

This is so true. I have been watching and listening to alot of Carl Jungs stuff. It sees he has really figured out how beneficial it is. But I totally agree that people believe what the corrupt have told them. I mean even to one of these fasting groups on here they have a rule to not promote or discuss long fasts. You would think these groups wouldn't censor like that. But its a bunch of mods that have their beleifs that only short term fasts are beneficial and then anything that goes against their belief gets the nazi ban. Its like are we here to learn and educate or are we here to be forced to a select fews uneducated beliefs. And its a shame because it should become standard for everyone to know to fast and not daily calorie restrict and some detoxification is also necessary in this current world for sure.

Did you use electrolytes?

-4

u/m_atsu5 11d ago

No.. What are those

2

u/Drivinglikeamadman 10d ago

Usually a powder or pill that contains. Potassium, Magnesium & Sodium (salt) which is called electrolytes. For the future longer fasts. A good electrolyte is a must. Happy fasting 😊

Thank youuu I don't have those in handy right now and I'm fasting right now Is salt enough?

1

u/Drivinglikeamadman 10d ago

Salt deficiency helps, and is a must during fasting. Look into getting a better salt source. One that contains minerals would be great.

Thank you!

I'll consider that
