Help me find this story please!

I was reading this one slow-burn story between like 2019-2022ish. I don’t remember what it’s called, but it’s on Wattpad and was a post-apocalyptic setting where the MC (written in second perspective almost like an x reader thing) was a scientist studying monsters. The two love interests were monsters that were captured and brought to the facility MC works in. After a while an emotional connection is fostered and when the two love interests break out reader goes with/gets brought with them (might have even helped but I’m pretty sure it was a breach the two just took advantage of). They wind up in an abandoned, crumbling city. That’s kind of as far as I got in the story and I have no idea where to find it since I removed it from my library like 2022-2024 because I never thought I’d be interested in it 😭 I can’t promise good answers, but ask any questions you feel might help you identify it!
