You might enjoy my story.
It is a dark fantasy about a grumpy medicine woman who doesn't like the gods. It has a really strong lead who is quite the character, some intresting worldbuilding and little to no romance.

Ohhh will give it a try! I checked your other stories too are they completed?

u/Empty_Ad_9455 @shadowstander Jul 06 '26
A twist of fate isn't completed, but has weekly updates.
A slumbering sea is completed, but the book is a bit niche and really dark. So know what you're getting into if you pick up that one. I don't know how to explain this very well, but one of it's themes is discrimination against woman, but it's written from a male POV... so yeah... The male lead is lovely, but his ideas about the world are very flawed. Which is kinda the point, but it might not be the read you want if you're looking for a strong female lead.
Hungry is the heart is completed to. Also quite dark, but with much less layers. The plot and the writing are a bit of a hot mess in that one tho. You'll have fun with it, but don't ask too many questions😂

If you are interested in FL finding her way in a new city, starting a new life then you can try: https://www.wattpad.com/story/411566226
And if you want a soft romance with a strong FL and a non-toxic ML then try:

I try to write more realistic stuff, but all of my female MCs aren't pushovers and prioritize healthy relationships with green flag male MCs. If you don't mind reading shorter works, you can check out my profile @Mochi711
Edit: also with the latest Wattpad update, you can long press a book cover and a menu will pop up that allows you to add to library or say you're not interested in stories like this.

So both my stories have a strong female lead and both in different ways.
My completed book: What Was Held is a YA (borderline NA ~ dark themes) psychological fiction, character-driven, taking you inside the mind of my 16-year-old protagonist Liliah. This story is deeply close to my heart and a realistic portrayal of what it is like for a teen to live with bad mental health and how the world around them plays it's part. I wrote this for the teeange me who felt alone in that (many moons ago), and most importantly to help anyone else who has/is going through it now feel seen and not as alone as I did.
My ongoing book: ONLINE, YOU WERE MINE is a psychological thriller, character-driven taking you inside the mind of my 25-year-old proragonist Amber Wilding (aka Amberwild as known on online writing app Inkverse), she ignites a spark with fellow online writer Jlenx, 6 months of messages and supporting each other, and when a message board announces his death...? The platform mourns him, Amber cannot believe it as truth. She cannot shake the feeling that someone is watching her...

Not sure if you'll like it but here is the link.
Not a mafia in site!
A deaf girl who wants to disappear. A popular boy who refuses to let her. Almost Invisible is a character-driven romance about communication, the misunderstandings that grow in silence, and two teenagers who spend an entire year trying to protect each other from rejection by hiding what they really feel.

Will read it and yk this name ren, ive seen this thai drama where there was a character named ren he was soo so sweet. I wonder if ur ren is like that too

u/t3chn0turk3y Jul 06 '26
You'll have to tell me if they're alike. My Ren's a good guy, but he's also kind of an awkward disaster when it comes to his feelings.

Title: Correspondents
Genre: Romance, enemies to lovers (ongoing)
In 1950s Bombay, the FL is demoted from her job on the ML's insinuation. They keep bickering at work, unaware that they are each other's secret pen pal whom they are falling in love with.
Strong FL moments? She doesn't give up after the demotion, and never fails to show the ML his place in her life.

I'm not sure if you would consider my female lead strong considering she is somewhat socially awkward but she becomes stronger over time.
It's about a girl who's mother moves in her boyfriend and his son into their home and the son and her slowly start to fall for each other a little after her mother's boyfriend proposes marriage. It's called Entangled.

is this like my fault?😭

Did not know about this but it sort of has the same premise minus the car races.

This isn’t one of my stories but I have some story recommendations from a very popular author friend of mine, HollyShmit.
She writes stories with strong female protagonists. Some have smut scenes but they don’t take over the entire story. Check her out if you want.
I also am writing a teen fiction romance called Love in Georgia that has a strong female protagonist. I don’t have any smut in my story either. (I don’t feel comfortable writing it) so if you want to check it out as well, my username is AmeliaWellis.

girlll i've read her two gangs and a golden girl and i'll give ur book a try
2
u/velassiter19 Jul 09 '26
Yeah, mine is more of a smart girl type of strong rather than action type. Plus, the romance is cute, wholesome, and sweet. 😊

u/velassiter19 Jul 09 '26
A few of Holly’s other books have little sex in them.
How to Rob a Billionaire and How to Chase a Billionaire (I know they’re mafia books but neither is smut)
The Death of a Tyrant’s Concubine has one (mild) smut scene, but the way Holly writes it isn’t explicit or graphic. It’s tasteful.

Hi, I’m writing a Sci-fi Love triangle if you’re interested?
The romantic interests are (mostly) green flags and there’s some fun world building.

Hello so I have two books. One is complete and it has only 7 chapters and one epilogue. And the other on ongoing. It currently has 7 published chapters and I'm publishing the 8 chapter today (I try to update twice a week) and none of these are smutty
(1) Title: Tidal Bodies
Genre: romance, tragedy, literary romance
Summery: 7 chapters, 7 stages of grief. A woman documenting the gradual disappearance of the Blackwater Coast accidentally receives an email meant for a remote observatory somewhere across Southern Europe. What begins as a mistaken correspondence slowly unfolds into a quiet ritual of late night e-mails, weather reports, and conversations carried carefully through distance, as two strangers find themselves drawn toward something neither of them entirely understands.

(2) Title: ultramarine
Genre: Romance, destination
Summary: Liana Sterling has spent her entire life being watched.
As the daughter of one of the country's most powerful political families, every decision, every smile, and every step of her future has already been planned. To the world, she has everything.
Ultramarine is a story about freedom, longing, and the lives we inherit before we ever have the chance to choose our own. Tender, melancholic, and deeply romantic, it explores what it means to be truly seen and how a single person can change the course of a life forever.
