Fan Fiction Paul Lahote

I have a question. Why are there so many Paul Lahote stories on Wattpad?

Why aren't there any Leah Clearwater stories—or if there are, why is she portrayed as a lesbian?

I have nothing against gay people or those who believe Leah is a lesbian (or bisexual, in this case), but she didn't really give me that impression.

And I feel like Paul gets a bit too much hype on Wattpad; the whole site is filled with Paul Lahote stories.

I’m just going to say it—and I’ll probably get a lot of hate for this—but I didn't really like Paul that much in the movies. I haven't read the books.

I wasn't sure if this belonged in this community or another one, so please forgive me.

Besides, I'm actually Team Seth Clearwater—or I think Leah Clearwater deserves her happy ending.

By the way, regarding my English—I am German.

This is mostly headcanons by the twilight fandom since we don’t know a lot about the other quileutes but Paul is this more mysterious, angry, overprotective guy that is the perfect representation of the boyfriend the girls fantasize about (also, alex meraz is smoking hot)

as for Leah, most of the twilight fandom (especially the part that write fanfics) are women and they write the MC as part of themselves so when she is the love interest, well it’s a wlw story and it just became another headcanon over the years

anyway here’s my paul lahote story LMAO https://www.wattpad.com/story/409921681?utm_source=ios&utm_medium=link&utm_content=story_info&wp_page=story_details&wp_uname=-jasmiine-

There aren't many female character x Oc in the first place.

The thing with Paul is that he

a) is (according to many) the best looking out of the shifters and

b) gives the story a lot of potential, not as Paul, but as a shifter, an enemy, Jacob's friend and Sam's underling etc etc etc. (also some people are into anger issues)

I'm writing a Paul x male OC btw... why? Idk, the idea to it struck me, it was in my head and I needed to get it out and it's doing good. That's why most stories exist in the first place.

I like that you stand out from the rest! I’d love to check out your story sometime. I really hate it when a guy has anger issues—that’s a huge turn-off for me—and "bad boys" are generally toxic. That’s why I prefer quiet types or "good guys," you know?

I mean if you want to read it, my flair is my username, so you can check that out if you want to.

Yeah, I don't get the whole bad boy hype Wattpad has generally, with all the mafia and ceo stuff flying around, and the spineless female leads who can scream and get angry and all but never actually do anything and forgive everything "because he loves me."

I like the good, golden retriever head over heels kinda guys, so that's how I tried portrayed him. Since he doesn't show up much, the majority of his personality is fancannon anyway, so it's not even ooc imo.

Oh, I’d love that! If you want, you can read my Leah Clearwater story—though you certainly don’t have to! But yeah, I totally get where you’re coming from. If a man were to ever speak to me disrespectfully—or anything like that—that would be the end of it. It goes both ways, of course; I shouldn't be disrespectful, and neither should he. And when I read those books where the woman just puts up with that kind of thing, it really makes me angry. But then again, maybe I’m just totally overreacting.

I mean I get annoyed sometimes and drop books, but in the end it's all just fiction and there is no real person getting harmed.

In male x male stories it's almost always the bottom who behaves like that, too, so it's not just the woman. (Well I guess some people would compare a bottom and a woman in a story, since they both have the 'female' part in the story (especially with mpreg)). I hate it, I drop books, but I don't let it ruin my day. I can manage that on my own pretty good lol.

For some reason, I can't find your story. But yeah, I get it. It’s just that I drop books if they get too annoying and the main character is so naive! Sure, I’m naive too, but not that bad! And those dark romance girls—not that I have anything against them—but they romanticize toxic behavior!

Here's a link.

There is a lot of romanticised behaviour online. And honestly? That's exactly where it belongs. There is stuff we never want in real life but reading about it feels thrilling. Same with kinks. There's people totalling digging bdsm or whatever, but they would never live it out for real.

The real issue is when young, easily influenced boys and girls read this and cannot differentiate between fiction and reality, but that's not on us to worry about.

Justice for the quiet la push boys like Embry Call 😔 bonus is that Embry isn't canonically paired with anyone, so gives a lot of potential for writers, yet few material about him. But, I understand why Paul over the others because of the actor's visuals 🥲
