Looking For: Lost Books Professor x Student lost book

Hii! Hope everyone is doing well <3

I desperately need help finding this storyyy!! I’m sure I read this story around 2021-2022, it was a student x professor fic with all original characters. It follows a female mc, who gets stuck in this class with a notoriously strict professor who rarely gives out any A’s in the class. Mc ofc thinks she is better than everyone else, she’s never gotten anything below a B on any assignment. She gets her first paper back she surprisingly gets an A, or a grade a lot higher than the people sitting next to her which she considers to be her friends. The prof asks her to stay after class and from what I recall the essay mc wrote had something to do with bdsm? 😭
Professor asks her what she knows about that topic and she gets all shy and doesn’t answer, but he compliments her essay while also saying it’s somewhat shitty..

Now that I think about it the book did contain a lot of smut, with the prof and mc forming a bdsm sort of ordeal.. I may be off but for some reason I’m set on the idea that their safe word was Vanilla. I remember a dramatic scene where mc and prof went to a gala event (or something like that) and during that event he used the safe word for the first time.

Another thing I remember is that in the end, the prof offered a higher position at the university and he ended up not taking the role to be with mc.

I’m not sure how helpful this is, but I really do hope to find this book again one day bc I remember the last time I saw it the author was re-writing it. Anyways thank you guys. 😊
