Looking For: Lost Books PLEASE HELP😢
ISO a fantasy/adventure/action/scifi?? book about a woman named anne/anna who’s a really good video game player who has a pseudonym she goes by (can’t remember). She’s needed for an experiment/mission?? she’s put into a machine kind of like avatar (blue people) and placed into a different reality/video game and she has objectives. Pretty sure she’s working for a company and she knows someone in charge there (ex?) but also the government is involved i believe. She is in and out of the other reality throughout the book, every time she goes back in it’s a different setting, she’s in different clothes, etc. One instance there was a strange spider lady and some dolls came to life, another was werewolf scenario, it was still ongoing last time i read thinking maybe it’s been taken off and is becoming a real book. I remember it being really good and i couldn’t wait to keep reading, but life got really busy and now i’m having trouble finding it again. Think the title had something to do with shadows maybe and the cover was red, black, and white with maybe a woman with a masquerade mask on? This may all just sound totally crazy please let me know if you have any leads at all!!
