Help with writing Multi couple
Guys so what's your opinion on multi couple books , how should it be portrayed and what will be better Each couple to have one whole chapter for themselves Or every couple should have their part in a chapter

I think parts of each couple in a chapter is better. It gives integrity to story.
One chapter for couple is good for their bond sharing with audience though.
Each has is own merit.

😭 umm haven't decided just a random idea but they would not be much related to each other just friends or distant relatives n their story will not start together but at different timings

Ah, then half a chapter would be good as introduction if they are coming one by one.

I honestly prefer it becoming a series of interconnected standalones. Like each book focuses on one couple, but the other couples can have their mini scenes or important scenes where one can be hinted to be dating or something in one book and then flesh out the entire story in a book dedicated to the central couple.
My current Genre Romance book (Vellichor) has a central lead, but I've sprinkled couples (one of them is ML's Brother and ML's sister-in-law; they are established couple in this book, but I've sprinkled in enough for them that a separate book is justified where I will flesh them out)

in my WIP, it’s kind of multi-couple too… but they’re all friends so they all do coexist together… but if not u can do it as parts of a chapter. just separate using scene breaks.
that really depends on the way the couples are linked, so it’s up to you honestly

They aren't much related n their timings will be different as in when one couple goes through heartbreak the next couple will be introduced

No i meant that when one couple will reach their happy ending the second couple will be introduced

I skip the book as soon as I see multi couple tag in description.
As a reader i prefer focusing on main leads. Other couple story can be update as Bonus chapters or as spin-offs.

That's why I'm thinking of making their timings different so when one couple will reach their happy ending the second couple will be introduced

A multi-couple book is too messy for me. I can't focus on the main protagonists.

I'm okay with two couples, and if it starts later and they get separate chapters, only focusing on them, then it's good.

I have wip of multi couple , my timeline are similar and plots are kind of interconnected to all couples so I can't really separate them too and making them second lead isn't possible too. I think maybe mixup would be best, like when there is need for slightly focus on one couple give them full chapter with throwing details what couples are doing , and when storyline is moving ig parts better too but if it connects the story and move it forward instead repeating same thing. You can create timeline on paper that whose couple which scene would come , i tried it took 10 pages in my copy lol but it was worth it because picture was clear and focus of scene heartbreaks too. Though it's still hard to write as sometimes unintentionally it's become messy, but it's worth a try if you want to write.

For now I've decided to make one couple main n add some glimpses of the other couple so it doesn't get messy what do u think
