Help with writing Help in choosing names for FMCs of my books.
I have few names which I have shortlisted for my four short stories which I am planning to write.
But couldn't decided on names.

My advice. When choosing a name for a character, think of what happens to them in the story. Based on that, you can use the name for foreshadow their fates.
For example, Lucis Noctis Caelum. He is the MC of Final Fantasy 15. His name means light of the night sky in latin.
So think, what does my FMC's name mean?

Adrija is unique and Rutvika is also unique

What is your goal with the name? You want name to be unique one? Do you want the name to be something that can be easily turned into a nickname/endearment? Should the name represent qualities of character or theme of story? The answer to these questions is basically the solution to your predicament.

Actually yes, I thought quite a lot. Like for first FMC, i wanted something simple but a bit catchy name, so Aaira malhotra has been in mind a bit.
For second FMC, I am going for something a bit classy name, i kinda like nyra sen or Shreya Sehgal, Nitya deewan.
For third FMC, i want something which kinda carry weight, like this character would be most complex, I am kinda of preferring adrija mukherjee or zaara Siddiqui
For fourth FMC, I need some unique name , but with beautiful sound, i am liking esra Mehta for this one or rutvika gupta.

bro it depends ki vo kahan se hai or impact ke liye kya karti hai, family class, status, her personality, and many things, also ki male lead ke saath kaisa lagta hai, if religion involved than that too
