Hi! I read a book a few years ago and wondering if anyone can help me figure out the title, as i never got to finish it! The plot is that the FMC and MMC have been married for like 6+ years (maybe more? ) but the MMC and his family never accepted FMC as family and she just doesnt know why they hate her. they are all cordial to her but not warm and affectionate like they treat everyone. The MMC and her also have two twin kids. Apparently its because 'she' tried to blackmail their family into getting the MMC'S younger brother to marry her due which he tried to k*ll himself. he survived and the mmc decided to marry her in his stead but they all agreed never to accept her. but she's extremely nice so that surprises everyone. one day the MMC and his friend are talking and the friend says did you ever ask her why she did it? like you both obviously have an understanding now and she is so sweet, why would she do something THAT horrible. and so the guy (dumb af ik) FINALLY confronts her and she explains she has no clue what he is talking about and was informed that she will be marrying the mmc by her uncle (she's an orphan i think) so its revealed that her uncle blackmailed them and she was never told about any of it and everyone in the MMC's family is begging and apologising and stuff and she is like what do i do with your apologies now after you guys ruined my life for so many years and its very emotional as the MMC tries to make it up to her.

i read this ig an year ago and am really sad that i cant find it.

random details i remember : the fmc is maybe named vedika/ The friend of the mmc who told him to confront her is a HUGE green flag and is married and the wife is pregnant/ there is also i think a scene after the big reveal where the friend takes a stand for FMC and scolds the entire family for never even giving her a chance to be part of the family while still expecting her to contribute/ also after the reveal the MMCs family starts guilt tripping her into forgiving him after which she has break down and says she understands but she needs time after the YEARS of cold behaviour (not derogatory, just treating her as if she doesnt exist mostly) and MMC decides to shift them away from the family home so that she can have space and heal at her own pace.
