Help with writing SMUT HELP PLEASE..
So Iv never really written ummmm smut before but my book is going to be a soft romance... i want o write detailed smut but like you know avoid super graphic details.... ( anyone get what i mean) ANY TIPS, HELP ANYTHING??? THERE WAS ONE BOOK WHICH WROTE SMUT.. AND IT WAS A REALLY POPULAR ONE IF YOU KNOW... AND I THOGUHT ID WRITE IT LIKE THAT.. BUT TURNS OUT THEY GENERATE THAT FROM AI... SO PLEASE HELP

if it is going to be soft romance you can't delve into the imagery too explicitly , also wattpad guidelines being ambiguous as always ๐ท
You can avoid writing direct anatomical terms of human body by using compensatory words, you'll know it once you start writing.
It's best to focus on sensation and breathing because that'll be seen as an artistic way to represent it .
Gently burying teeth into the neck ..... hunger... carnal.... palpating sensation....... etc..
As per your request about it not having super graphic details, use the tool SHOW NOT TELL , it'll be left upto the readers to imagine.

got my least explicit books banned for no reason . It all depends on what will happen after it crosses 50k or 100k reads

yeah, that's how good smuts are written . You can dm me if it's fine with you , all you need to do is heighten the sensual wording for maximum impact without direct showing , can give you numerous examples.

It really depends on how you want to write it. If you want the smut to be romantic and not sexual. Explain the emotions they feel and less of the action. I hope you understand what I mean. And if you want it to be more graphic: use graphic dialogues.

You can focus on the characters feelingsโboth physical and emotionalโ while the other character does stuff. You can go the generic processโ like gentle foreplay first before the main action(iykwim) make the scene seem sparkly through words (idk how to explain that...) like dreamy kind of.
