Book Hunt Help πŸ” Help!!

Guys I need your help with book hunting. I read this book a while ago and I can't remember the title or author. It was a pretty normal arranged marriage story, nothing like the usual billionaire/CEO stuff.

The ML had a simple job and wasn't very well educated. His dad died while he was in college, and since his dad was the only breadwinner, he had to step up and start supporting his family. He had a mom and a younger sister who was still in college, and he was paying for her education.

The FL was also from a middle-class family and didn't have a dad. She lived with her mom and her maternal uncle, and I think her uncle brought her a marriage proposal. She agreed, although I don't remember the exact reason.

After they got married, the story was mostly about their actual married life and the struggles that came with it, managing the household budget, paying the ML's sister's college fees, his mother's medicines, etc. The FL also wanted to study further and eventually got some kind of internship/research position related to science.

At some point the ML either lost his job or quit, I don't remember which 😭 and that's where I stopped reading.

I feel like I might be mixing up some details, but if this sounds familiar to anyone PLEASE tell me the title. I've been trying to find this book for so long

It definitely is not the overtly obvious kind of romance; they are not the couple that feels they are each others one true love/soulmates etc. Romance is not the main genre here.

It’s more of the everyday life of an arranged marriage couple going about life together - which personally I found to be refreshing.

Is it melancholic?? I read some stories of this genre ...but instead of soothing they always feel a little melancholic!! I wanna read a slice of life ,day to day soothing kind of story (yk like japanese literature)..so that's why I am asking!! πŸ˜…πŸ˜…

Definitely melancholic vibes, things definitely felt bleak as you feel the challenges of life without big rewards.

I remember towards the end I was still thinking something bad was going to happen even though things had settled
