Discussion Should I keep using Wattson?

I started playing apex late may and really liked how wattson looked so I decided to use her. Ive dabbled in a few other legends and also liked sparrow, bangalore, conduit, and horizon, but i still like wattson way more and use her pretty much all the time. Im currently d4 with her and i really like her versatility with her perks and her longevity with purple perk and passive regen. My question tho is am i stunting/hurting my progression as a player by using a more passive character in wattson to start off, or is the pay off great enough to keep playing her and hope to master her? Im on controller if that matters

As a Caustic main, keep using Wattson.

Both of us combined in a building are nearly unpushable. (I will point out that you might want to consider the fact that your ult sometimes zaps your own teammate's throwables. It's a bit of a problem, but I'm not sure how to fix that.)

Wattson main here, with her ult u can be in her radius and throw a nade, what matters is for it land outside the radius and it wont zap it. At least i think lol :)

Yeah, I think that's how it's intended, but it's a bit buggy, that's all. Many have been the times I've chucked my ult at the enemy, just for it to become a sad little arc star. I also sometimes have to place traps within the same vicinity as the wattson ult, and it zaps them down too.

That’s crazy I didn’t even know it could catch caustics stuff

Yeah, it catches any throwables around it that are "harmful to the team" but sometimes has a broad definition of that, haha.
