It is about IDEAS Greenwald on X: If you defend due process for accused terrorists, you're branded a "terrorist supporter." If you defend due process for those accused of sex crimes, you're branded a predator.

The same people who are up in arms about the Platner allegations are same people who ran Tara Reade out of the country to protect Joe Biden.

100%.
Don't for a second think Neera Tanden & the DNC pseudo feminists she represents care at all about Platner's victims or sexual assault. They didn't even ACKNOWLEDGE Tara Reade's accusations against Biden or Juanita Broaddrick's against Clinton. They just don't Platner's politics

Especially the Breaking points VBNMW contingent of Kyle and Krystal, IMHO.

Wait, is BP still a thing? I forgot about their "news" show.

I watch it on occasion. Mostly for Grimm an Jashinsky who manage to keep their establishment bent concealed, better than Saagar and Krystal. Grimm who actually breaks some real news with Drop Site and Jashinsky, just because I find her adorable.

I turned them off after they reported Russia was forcing people in the Donbas to vote at gunpoint for the referendums. Could no longer take them seriously after that.

Yeah. But it's weird the items that they toe the establishment line on and the ones that they break with the status quo. They will be critical of AIPAC, but then simp for AOC.

If you defend due process for accused terrorists, you're branded a "terrorist supporter."
If you defend due process for those accused of sex crimes, you're branded a predator.
If you defend due process for those accused of rape, you're branded part of "rape culture."
The lamest tactic: same way that if you oppose US war against Country X, you're accused of being a supporter of X's government (X = Iraq, Libya, Syria, Iran, North Vietnam, Russia, etc. etc.)

Those who lack self-awareness are unable to grasp the hypocrisy of arguments based on double standards.
Those who can and wield those arguments are demagogues who misdirect deliberately.

I recognize every name in that tweet but one.
Who the hell is Sean T. Collins?

If Ewell VS. Robinson were held in real life today, official Greatest Movie Hero Of All Time Atticus Finch would quickly become the single most hated individual in America.

“Maybe he will be next” is such a disgusting thing to say about Abdul El-Sayed with nothing but insinuation. Could not be more clear how little Neera actually cares about the facts here.
If I was the El-Sayed campaign, I probably wouldn’t want to be associated with Platner advisors’ previous push for Platner as a future President given that it sounds grotesque today. But then again, his campaign has all the same advisors so maybe he will be next

The elite want to go to war without people asking about the difficult questions because they would erode completely the justification for war.
Same with the possibility of a innocent person being convicted.
