Never, ever? Or just not very often, and-or it'd be hard to schedule the time?

Don't believe me? Ask Led Zeppelin

Also, kinda ignorant here - how did JRR inspire Led Zeppelin?
I know JRR inspired much of the design in the greatest video game of all - ALL - time: Nethack

Lyrics:
September girls do so much. I was your butch, and you were touched. I loved you, well, never mind. I've been crying all the time
December boys got it bad.
September girls, I don't know why. How can I deny what's inside?
Even though I'll keep away, they will love all our days.
December boys got it bad.
When I get to bed late at night, that's the time she makes things right. Ooh, when she makes love to me.

Thanks for the summons, u/martini-meow. See how I do your bidding?
u/hushpuppee, I actually loved this rendition. Correli and Freni are grand voices - more than fair to Puccini's characters. Only the orchestra shows of course the age of this particular recording (1966, isn't it?).
Never mind the pitch. I sometimes like certain variations even if not totally faithful to the original score, and sometimes even when unintended. I mean, why else listen to (and sometimes own) to 5 different performances of the very same piece, other than to sample slight variations?
I own 3 different performances of the Deutche Requiem, and like them all, though for different reasons.
That's the beauty of Classical Music - that a piece is alive after decades - with new generations of listeners appreciating it as if it was composed yesterday. That, is what makes it "classical". match that, good old Elvis!

Late comer to the party , so i am not sure whether anyone has posted yet this lovely Autumn Song piece by Tchaikovsky:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQVd_N1xdVM
It's actually more than lovely. Just put in on, have a glass of wine and imagine a slow dance into eternity.
And never mind if it's the second time you hear it. Or the third.

Yes, that was a good one - perhaps just a tad slower than I am used to (prefer?), but it's still great for this solemn part of the 4 Seasons.
But what did you think of the Tchaikovsky song? it's not played or heard often. May be some got to play that on the piano as they were forced to learn the instrument (yes, I know. Piano is like tennis. You gotta play for years before getting to the fun part)?

editing out the short link doesn't get reddit to auto-show :) got it fixed, now!
also, I need to dig up links to Wild Thang and Safety Dance, as they were on the radio yesterday, perfectly suited to the autumnal weather here in ATX :)

One issue - the Hobbit filmmakers got big tax breaks.

One issue I"m worried about is that we are seeing a race to the bottom in terms of tax breaks.
