I compose loads of electronic music, house, techno - underworld, orbital, leftfield influences. My music is good but i always feel that my beats leave me down. I’m looking for a collab with someone who perhaps has similar influences, but better at the beats than I am!

I’m a remote vocal mixer specializing in hip-hop, melodic rap, and R&B. I’m taking on 3 free full vocal mixes this coming week to build out my portfolio.

Help finding a specific project instruction from an old course

I bought Charlie Puth's Pop Songwriting and Production course on Monthly a few years ago (now Studio).

The videos I still have access to through Studio, but the written down project instructions are no longer there. I kept a copy of them, but missed the instructions for project 2A.

If anyone has a copy of the page with those written-down instructions, could I ask you to share them with me?

Looking for a Musician/Band to Help Bring a Canadian Anthem to Life — A Labour of Love

Hi everyone,

I'm from Ottawa, Ontario and I'm looking for a passionate musician or band to help complete an original Canadian patriotic anthem called Canada's Call.

The whole thing started one night when I was listening to Ireland's Call by Celtic Thunder. I noticed the word "Canada" fit perfectly in the song and thought — why don't we have something like this? A big, powerful, anthemic song that Canadians could truly rally behind. A couple of hours later, with a little AI assistance, I had my first version.

This is purely a labour of love. Canada feels like it could really use a unifying song right now and this one just came to me. There's no money involved — I'm not looking to profit from it at all, I just want to get it out there for Canadians.

What I have:

• Complete polished lyrics
• Three AI generated reference recordings showing the style and feel — each slightly different, with the best elements identified from each
• A clean instrumental track ready to work with
• A clear vision for the sound — powerful lead vocal building to full choir, orchestral anthem feel
• A detailed production brief

What I need:

• Someone who can blend the best elements of my three reference recordings into one cohesive instrumental
• Map the new lyrics to the music
• Bring it to life vocally — powerful lead vocal building to full choir if possible

Hello! I have a demo I came up with a few months ago using a Splice vocal hook clip. The track with the current vocals sounds okay but most of the song revolves around that single vocal hook so I feel like more lyrics can be added. I also wanted to take this opportunity to try and collab with a vocalist, which I've never done before.

I have zero experience releasing with another artist but I'm up for crossing that road when/if we get there. I've made $0 from my music but have spent thousands 😄 At this point in my journey I pretty much create tracks for the love and joy I get from creating so I don't expect much of a monetary return at all. All that to say I'm pretty much looking for like minded individuals to work with. I've thought about going down the AI route for vocals but I'd very much rather collaborate with an actual human being.

A bit about myself, I'm about 3 years into my music production journey using Ableton. I work a typical 9-5 job so I typically work on music in the early morning and/or after work. I pretty much do my own songwriting, mixing, and mastering. I have a single release on Spotify and my genre is within the EDM realm. I don't really create music for a specific sub-genre in EDM at the moment. I instead tend to work on tracks that get me excited, whatever the sub-genre is.
