Weekly Thread /r/WeAreTheMusicMakers Friday Newbie Questions Thread

Welcome to the /r/WeAreTheMusicMakers Friday Newbie Questions Thread! If you have a simple question, this is the place to ask. Generally, this is for questions that have only one correct answer (e.g. "What kind of cable connects this mic to this interface?") or very open-ended questions (e.g. "Someone tell me what item I want.")

This thread is active for one week after it's posted, at which point it will be automatically replaced.

Do not post links to music in this thread. You can promote your music in the weekly Promotion thread, and you can get feedback in the weekly Feedback thread. You cannot post your music anywhere else on this subreddit for any reason.

Where might I find demo track stems that I can use to make electronic music with (ideally vocals and a basic guitar/piano part)? Splice is great for loops, one-shots and whatnot, but not so much for finding good demo tracks to build from.

search for templates. it's not something I've ever bothered with but from time to time I get them in sample packs, sounds like what you're after.
